U.S. has deployed military advisers to Somalia, officials say

The U.S. military secretly deployed a small number of trainers and advisers to Somalia in October, the first time regular troops have been stationed in the war-ravaged country since 1993, when two helicopters were shot down and 18 Americans killed in the “Black Hawk Down” disaster.

A cell of U.S. military personnel has been in the Somali capital of Mogadishu to advise and coordinate operations with African troops fighting to wrest control of the country from the al-Shabab militia, an Islamist group whose leaders have professed loyalty to al-Qaeda, according to three U.S. military officials.

The previously undisclosed deployment — of fewer than two dozen troops — reverses two decades of U.S. policy that effectively prohibited military “boots on the ground” in Somalia. Even as Somali pirates and terrorists emerged as the top security threat in the region, successive presidential administrations and the Pentagon shied away from sending troops there for fear of a repeat of the Black Hawk Down debacle.
In recent years, the Obama administration has slowly and cautiously become more directly involved in Somalia.

Drones from a U.S. base in Djibouti — a neighboring Horn of Africa country — conduct surveillance missions and occasional airstrikes from Somalia’s skies. Elite Special Operations forces have also set foot on Somali territory on rare occasions to carry out counterterrorism raids and hostage rescues, but only in the shadows and for no more than a few hours at a time.

Syrian Al-Qaeda Leader Captured In Mascara, Lipstick And A Burqa

Syrian forces captured a leader of al-Qaeda dresses as a woman. Complete with burqa, makeup and lipstick. Raymond Ibrahim reported:

Yesterday, many Arabic-language Internet news websites posted the following pictures, purporting to be of the leader (or “emir”) of the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra ["Victory"] Front, which is in Syria waging jihad. According to these reports, Abu Muhammad al-Jawlani had managed to pass several military checkpoints dressed as a woman, until he was arrested by the Syrian army in al-Jaswiya, al-Qusayr, in his attempt to flee to neighboring Lebanon: “He shaved his beard, worked his eyebrows, and put on mascara and lipstick till he looked exactly like a woman.”

Iraqi security forces arrested a fake wedding procession. With fake bride (a man disguised as a bride) and groom who are wanted outlaws. The fake bride was one of the son’s of infamous Mahdi Army leader and killer of many Sunnis, Abu-Deraa, who is now hiding in Iran.

Barack Hussein Obama orders CIA to continue arming and training al-Qaeda linked jihadists in Syria

The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is administering a secret program to further arm, train, and support the anti-government Free Syrian Army, most of whom are now al Qaeda-linked militant extremists in Syria, says the New York Times.

Under the administration’s division of labor, the State Department is in charge of supplying nonlethal aid, while the CIA runs a covert program to arm and train the Syrian militants, the newspaper said.

The US officials insisted that no aid would be directly supplied to the Islamic Front, an umbrella for half a dozen rebel groups who favor the creation of an orthodox Islamic state in Syria. Aid would continue to be funneled exclusively through the Supreme Military Council, the military wing of moderate, secular Syrian opposition.

Also in the past 24 hours, a prominent Syrian analyst, elaborating on the cause of Riyadh’s logistical and financial support for the terrorist groups in Syria, said the fate of the Saudi regime now depends on al-Qaeda’s failures and successes in Syria.

“After the Syrian government’s success in spoiling all Saudi dreams in the region, specially in Syria, the fate of the Al-Saud family practically depends on their proxies in the region, the al-Qaeda group, their other affiliated groups and the Wahhabi thoughts,” Salim Harba told FNA.

Barack Obama accused of sexual harassment at Harvard Law School

Barack Obama served as the president of the Harvard Law Review while in law school there, and during his tenure in that position, he was allegedly accused of sexual harassment. Two editors at the law review filed complaints with the university administration alleging that Obama had engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior. The university allegedly settled the cases and offered them agreements that allegedly included financial compensation and required them to remain silent about the nature of the settlements.

The story, based on one reported in The Kansas Citian, is reported here. The claim is that Barack Obama, while president of the Harvard Law Review, engaged in sexually inappropriate behavior with two male editors of the review.
Sodahead reported this about the allegations, “In a series of comments over the past 10 days, Obama and his administration repeatedly declined to respond directly about whether he ever faced allegations of sexual harassment at the journal. They have also declined to address questions about specific reporting confirming that there were financial settlements in two cases in which men leveled complaints. THE KANSAS CITIAN has confirmed the identities of the two male journal editors who complained about Obama but, for privacy concerns, is not publishing their names.”
The report also claims someone ask White House press secretary Jay Carney about the allegations, “White House spokesman Jay Carney told THE KANSAS CITIAN the president indicated to White House staff that he was “vaguely familiar” with the charges and that the university’s general counsel had resolved the matter.”
Additionally, there is also a third accuser, from 1991 when Obama was an instructor at the University of Chicago. Sodahead quotes an AP story as reporting, “A third former editor says he considered filing a workplace complaint over what he considered aggressive and unwanted behavior by Barack Obama when he worked under the president in the 1991 at the University of Chicago. He says the behavior included a private invitation to his apartment.”
Yet another Obama scandal that the mainstream media ignores. What else have we yet to find out about what Barack Obama has done? Maybe that's why he hides as much of his past and his records as he can get away with.

Gates Gives Specific Examples of Biden’s Terrible Foreign Policy Record

Katie Couric asked former Secretary of Defense Bob Gates to state specifically what foreign policy questions outside of Afghanistan Vice President Biden has gotten wrong in an interview posted on Yahoo News.
Gates wrote in his memoir Biden has been “in the wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”
The former Secretary of Defense prefaced his critique by noting there were some instances of agreement with the vice president during their tenure in the Obama administration, but the historical record does not reflect well on Biden’s foreign policy judgment:

BOB GATES: It started with voting against assistance to Vietnam, the assistance package at the end of Vietnam War that basically left the South Vietnamese government high and dry. I think he said with the fall of the Shah that this “represented progress towards human rights in Iran” when the Ayatollah took over. He voted against almost every element of the Reagan defense buildup, the B-1, the B-2, the MX missile. [He] opposed Reagan’s approach to trying to deal with the Soviet Union. [He] voted against the first Gulf War. Those are a few examples.

Interview Reveals Hillary Clinton Was Fired For A “History Of Lies” And “Unethical Behavior”

As Hillary begins to gear up for her upcoming run at the presidential race, it appears that her competitors are doing just the same.  A recent interview bore substantial fruit toward the anti-Hillary campaign.  Clinton’s ex-supervisor is speaking out saying that Hillary has a “history of lies” and “unethical behavior” and is in no way, fit for the Oval Office.
Jerry Zeifman, a Democrat and former chief of staff on the House Judiciary Committee, happened to be the man responsible for watching over Hillary Clinton’s work on the Water Gate Investigation.  As she was a lawyer back then, and heavily involved with the investigation, what Zeifman is accusing, is actually, not that surprising.

In a recent interview, Zeifman told reporters that, “She was a liar.”  Furthering his accusations, he explains that, “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”
Now of course these bombshell allegations couldn’t come as mere speculation and when asked for proof, boy, did he deliver.  He claims that in the 1970’s Hillary worked as a staff member on the Judiciary Committee—a job that she was only able to obtain with the help of her law professor.  It turns out this law professor was none other than, Burke Marshall, “Sen. Ted Kennedy’s head counsel during the Chappaquiddick trial.”

White House Freaks Out Over Online Petition To Charge Sen. Feinstein With Treason Reaching 50,000 Votes

A petition to charge Dianne Feinstein with treason that has gotten nearly 50,000 signatures is causing a bit of heartburn in Obama’s White House forcing team Obama to come to Di Fi’s defense.
One of the somewhat silly things that team Obama did when it came to office was to set up a website where Americans could float petitions filled with ideas and issues that they want Obama to address. Now, in theory this idea sounds great. But in practice, Obama just ignores all these things. But they do offer an interesting story from time to time.
A recent petition offers one of those stories. It is the petition to charge California Senator Dianne Feinstein with treason for her constant attacks on the U.S. Constitution, the Second Amendment in particular.
The strength of the petition has caused Obama to come to Feinstein’s defense. Ah, schadenfreude.
The anti-DiFi petition was created in December of last year and only five months later it had gained nearly 50,000 signatures. The fifty thousand mark is where Obama’s perpetual political campaign/White House staff have said that they will publicly address an issue directly.
