White House Insider: ‘Barack Has Lost All Control Of Michelle’

Once again, there is trouble in White House paradise. According to sources close to the couple, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are again considering divorce.
Conflicts between the Obamas may be attribute to Michelle’s lavish spending habits, sources say. The First Lady received backlash from the White House and her husband, when she refused to cancel a lavish trip to China, paid for by taxpayer dollars.
The presidential couple is already notorious for the extravagant vacations they have taken in Obama’s years as President. Michelle’s latest stunt tips the Obama’s vacation expenses to over $150 million in the last five years.
An insider told reports that the argument over China was “a blowout of epic proportions – probably the nastiest White House fight they’ve ever had.”
The source also claims that the President is powerless to stop the first lady from “seeing the world on the American taxpayers’ dime.”

New York joins fight to elect US president by popular vote

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has signed legislation that could help revamp future presidential elections by agreeing to award the state’s 29 electoral votes to the candidate that is most favored on a national level.
The addition of Gov. Cuomo’s signature to a bill on Tuesday adds New York to a list of states who are signing on to what’s known as the National Popular Vote movement, joining ten other jurisdictions: California, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
Currently, the United States presidential election is decided every four years by accounting for all the ballots cast in each of the 50 states (and DC) and then awarding the winning candidate with the electoral votes allocated to that specific region. During the 2012 election, for example, incumbent Barack Obama received roughly 63 percent of the popular vote in New York and was thusly awarded all 29 of the Empire State’s electoral votes; challenger Mitt Romney received zero electoral votes, despite garnering the support of more than one-third of voters in the state.
According to the US Constitution, every state has the right to award its electoral votes in any manner it deems appropriate. But New York is now the latest state to speak out against the current procedure and says it will pledge its 29 electoral tallies to whoever wins the popular vote nationally. Instead of awarding those 29 points to the person who performs best in New York — a traditionally democratic, or “blue” state — it will go to the candidate that collected the most support on a national scale.
“With the passage of this legislation, New York is taking a bold step to fundamentally increase the strength and fairness of our nation’s presidential elections,” Governor Cuomo said in a statement that accompanied his signing of the bill this week. “By aligning the Electoral College with the voice of the nation’s voters, we are ensuring the equality of votes and encouraging candidates to appeal to voters in all states, instead of disproportionately focusing on early contests and swing states."
“Joining the compact gives us leverage over presidential candidates,” added State Sen. Joseph Griffo (R-Rome). “Collectively, we say: You can no longer take our states for granted. You can no longer effectively disenfranchise millions of Americans by ignoring us. And you can no longer assume our vote is yours.”
Combined, the 11 states that have agreed to the national popular vote pact have a total of 165 electoral votes, with New York’s 29 being the second most pledged behind California’s 55.
Election Day isn’t going to dramatically change just yet, however. The 11 states involved won’t formally adopt the new rule until it has a combined total of 270 electoral votes. The addition of New York to the group has officially bumped the count past the half-way mark, though, and now the movement has 61 percent of the electoral votes needed.
Hendrik Hertzberg — a writer for the New Yorker who has written exhaustively on the National Popular Vote movement — said this week that it’s “quite possible — even probable” that the 270 electoral votes will be collected in time for the 2020 presidential race, if not sooner.
Speaking to Democracy Now! this week, Hertzberg said the addition of New York is an “important step” in the movement.
“New York is the media capital. Things don’t really happen in the brain of the media until they happen in New York,” he said. “So even though California, New Jersey [and the] state of Washington — even though all these other states have already signed on, it’s only now starting to raise to the level of some sort of public attention.”
”I am particularly heartened to sign this legislation as it embodies both in process and substance the Empire State’s tradition as a national progressive leader,” Gov. Cuomo said of the news. “I am pleased to add New York to the growing list of states who have joined together to make this reform a reality.”

What the hell is this American plane owned by the Bank of Utah doing in IRAN?

On Tuesday morning, a plane owned in trust by the Bank of Utah showed up in a very visible area of the Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
What was it doing there exactly? Nobody knows, reports The New York Times.
Under President Barack Obama, the United States has eased some of the long-standing punitive economic sanctions against Iran. Still, very little American — or European — economic activity is allowed inside the religious theocracy.
The Bank of Utah is certainly no Wells Fargo. The Ogden-based community bank has all of 13 branches including three in Ogden, two in Salt Lake City and one in Trementon (pop. 7,647). Its humble motto is: “Experience. Service.”
The bank’s senior officials say they are baffled.
“We have no idea why that plane was at that airport,” Brett King, a Bank of Utah executive in Salt Lake City, told the Times.
“As fiduciary, we must keep information confidential when it comes to the beneficiary,” he added.
King also called the Bank of Utah “very conservative” and promised to get to the bottom of the situation “if there is any hint of illegal activity.”
The bank executive explained that his employer is only a trustee for the unidentified investors (possibly foreign investors) who actually own the aircraft (N-Number N604EP). Interestingly, the Bank of Utah acts as a trustee for a slew of planes—1,169 of them to be exact, everything from Boeing 747s to small, piston-powered Cessnas. In fact, not many American banks act as a trustee for more American aircraft.

The Federal Aviation Administration offered no help whatsoever concerning the mysterious jet parked in broad daylight at the busiest airport in Iran (over 13 million passengers in 2010).
Similarly, the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, which enforces the vast array of sanctions against Iran, refused to comment. However, under federal law, the department is normally supposed to approve the presence of any American airplane on Iranian soil. Such approval would be especially important in this case because the plane is powered by engines manufactured by General Electric.
Meanwhile, Hamid Babaei, a spokesman for Iran’s mission to the United Nations in New York, offered no information about the people on the plane or the plane’s owner.
“We don’t have any information in this regard,” Babaei told the paper of record. “I refer you to the owner.”
Mehrabad Airport officials would only describe the plane as “V.I.P.”

Federal Judge Rules Obama Administration Complicit In Rancher Conspiracy

Although many theories have been speculated upon as to why the government was so forceful in its recent dealings with the Nevada rancher, Clive Bundy, a federal judge has recently declared conspiracy. Further shocking the nation, the judge noted that this isn’t the first time the government has used its full force to bully a contesting rancher.
U.S. District Court Judge Robert C. Jones recently spoke out, as he could contain no more the baffling resemblance in a similar instance.  Sharing that the governments acts have formed a visible pattern, Jones claimed that he could accurately describe the intentions of the BLM.

Referring to the case of United States v. Estate of Hage, explains that similar circumstance fell upon a fellow Nevada rancher after he too defied the United States government.  As we’ve reported before, the BLM claimed that in an effort to prevent land from being destroyed due to over grazing by ranchers using public land, they would be subject to grazing fees.
Bundy has ever since rejected the assertion that he owes the government money as he and his family had been using the land since long before even the creation of the BLM.  At the time however, back in 1993, the BLM decided to start charging those who wished to use the public land in order to cut back on cheapskate land abusers.
When this was brought up, Nevada rancher E. Wayne Hage signed his grazing permit renewal but noted that he was in no way, forfeiting his families long standing rights to use the land for his cattle.  Explaining that his family had the right to the land, and in so its grass and water, they were more than shocked when they received their permit back informing them that it had been rejected.
It seems as though Hage was being retaliated against by the full force of the United States Government in return for their blatant defiance. Hage was then said to state his intentions of taking the government to court in which he received further inconveniences in the form of retaliation from the governing entity.

Essentially the process extracts carbon dioxide and hydrogen from the water and recombines it into hydrocarbon chains that liquefy via a metallic catalyst into a purely synthetic fuel source.

Pentagon Moves to Block Russian Spy Plane in American Skies

Russian surveillance planes already fly over America, thanks to a long-standing treaty. But a new, ultra-sophisticated spy plane has U.S. military and intelligence bosses spooked.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. military and American intelligence agencies have quietly pushed the White House in recent weeks to deny a new Russian surveillance plane the right to fly over U.S. territory. This week, the White House finally began consideration of the decision whether to certify the new Russian aircraft under the so-called “Open Skies Treaty.” And now the question becomes: Will the spies and generals get their way?
As the United States and Russia face off publicly over Ukraine, behind the scenes, President Obama’s national security cabinet is having its own quiet feud over a long-standing agreement to allow Russian surveillance flights over U.S. airspace.
The spies and the generals want to deny the Russians the overflight rights for its latest surveillance planes. The State Department, which ultimately makes that decision, has favored such certification. On Wednesday an interagency meeting of senior officials failed to reach consensus, delaying the decision until Obama takes it up with the National Security Council, according to U.S. officials involved in the dispute.
At issue is the Open Skies Treaty. First signed in 1992 and finally ratified in 2002, the treaty adopted by 34 nations allows the safe passage of planes equipped with advanced cameras and sensors that give governments the imagery and data they use to assess everything from compliance with arms control treaties to troop movements.
On April 15, the Republican chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Howard “Buck” McKeon, and the Republican chairman of that panel’s subcommittee that oversees the U.S. nuclear arsenal, Rep. Mike Rogers from Alabama, urged Obama to deny Russia the right to fly its new planes over U.S. airspace.
In their letter, the two lawmakers write, “We agree with the concerns expressed by the Intelligence Community and the military leadership of the Department of Defense” in their opposition to certifying the new Russian planes under the treaty.

Harry Reid and Son Called Crooks by Their Own Hometown Paper


Dingy Harry Reid has a problem. His hometown paper, the Las Vegas Review-Journal (LVRJ) is calling him out for his latest criminal caper. Reid has been trying to help his son Emaciated Rory steal from us and his scheme has been exposed by the LVRJ. Rory is a slimy lawyer who is trying to use Harry’s influence to strong-arm the state of Nevada, its main electric power supplier and the federal government to line their pockets with phony “green job” money.
The Reid family business is political corruption. Like any patriarch Harry Reid is trying to use his family business to help one of his sons.
In 2010 when the SEIU was stealing an election to keep Dingy Harry in office, Rory who was “running” for Governor of Nevada was so hopeless (he lost by 12 points) not even the Democrat’s voter fraud specialists could help him. So what could Harry Reid do?
Rory who is so emaciated looking he could pass as Harry’s father, needed a way to steal the “real money” Democrat Party corruption can give him. Harry is using the power of his office as the Senate Majority Leader to harass and maybe even destroy Nevada Energy (NV Energy) the main supplier of power for the state to help a Chinese “green energy” client of Rory’s law firm.
Rory is a spokesman for the company which is trying to gain a foothold in Nevada. That “green energy” is a total fake and nothing more than a way to steal from the federal treasury means nothing to either man.
Because they are treacherous Democrats neither Dingy Harry nor Emaciated Rory Reid feel the slightest hesitation to help a Communist country destroy an American company, even one in their own home state.
Hiding behind phony excuses that NV Energy “could do more with renewable energy…” Reid blows off critics and insults us by insisting he and his emaciated son have never spoken about this issue. The LVRJ says Harry Reid deserves an ethics complaint for his persistent efforts to damage NV Energy, and who could argue otherwise? He is clearly acting in the best interest of his son and himself not the people who “elected” him.
While the disinfectant that is sunlight will keep this scheme from working – partly because Reid has raised the issue of his own ethics by attacking Mitt Romney – when we finally rid ourselves of Reid’s control of our Senate we must remember this and take whatever action is available to us. We must deliver justice to Harry Reid.

If it weren’t for “bad news,” the Obama administration wouldn’t have any news at all.

Can anyone look at the myriad of scandals plaguing team-Obama and say that they trust the federal government? Can anyone examine the handling of a series of domestic and international crises, created by liberals and their policies, and not conclude that Resident Obama is in way over his head? As Mr. Obama’s poll numbers continue to fall and Democrats electoral prospects along with them, one gets a sense that it’s C-Y-A time on Capitol Hill and the White House.
In a recent speech in Pennsylvania, Obama laid out the stark reality. Pivoting—for the hundredth time it seems—to the economy, Obama tried to make the case that things were better after nearly six years of his occupation of the Oval Office. But then he said, “Here’s the challenge, and a lot of folks here know it. A lot of people don’t feel that progress in their own lives yet.” This is Obama’s way of saying, your life is better; you just don’t know it yet.
That’s the thing with these libs. They don’t trust your with your own money, your own liberty or freedom, or even trust you to determine—for yourself—how much misery their polices have brought into your life.
Obama’s coat tails, once big enough to support the entire Democrat party, are getting noticeably shorter. Vulnerable Dems in red states are desperately trying to show their independence from Obama.  Some are openly criticizing his permissive policy toward Iranian nuclear enrichment. Others are openly suggesting massive fixes to Obamacare, a law that just three years ago these same Democrats were claiming was the greatest innovation man had seen since the advent of the wheel. After America and the world have been forced to deal with something I like to call, “REALITY,” the folks are breaking through the mainstream press blackout of negative news on Obama and rightly blaming the architect himself.
America is finally waking up to the fact that they’re not seeing this “progress” Obama speaks of, because it doesn’t exist. It is as much a lie as Obamacare, Benghazi, the IRS, the AP and copious other scandals.
One might think Mr. Obama knew this day would come. I think all leftists realize, deep down, that liberal polices can never deliver on their unrealistic and exorbitant promises. Delivering on promises is often beside the point for extremist progressives. Election and commensurate power is all that matters to them. After all, look at what we learned just this week; that is, that Team-Obama’s takeover of the census was a preemptive strike to hide the negative ramifications of Obamacare. They justified the new census questions by admitting that the number of uninsured Americans was overinflated by the old census system. Yes, those same over-inflated numbers that Barack Obama used as justification for Obamacare.
Recent polling shows that only 15% of Americans think Obama never lies to “we the people.”  That translates to a vast majority of us who believe he does lie.  I believe he lies with great regularity and alarming ease.  Now that their proverbial house of cards is collapsing and bringing the country along with it, Obama and his Democrats will try and convince Americans that his failure, “Is all Bush’s fault,” or “You’re not really as miserable as you think you are,” or my favorite—they’ll spend the rest of Obama’s term trying to cover up his colossal mistakes.  The problem is, just like Obama’s term, the damage control effort will be based on even more lies.

No Keystone XL pipeline this year, following new delay

WASHINGTON – The Keystone XL pipeline project appears paralyzed for another year, with the U.S. administration announcing another delay in a process already beset by political and legal challenges.
The American administration shrugged off a demand from the Canadian government for an immediate decision on the controversial pipeline, so that construction could begin this summer.
 The State Department announced Friday that eight federal agencies had been informed they will have more time to weigh in, given the uncertainty created by a court dispute in Nebraska.

Ex-Belfast leader of Continuity IRA faction killed; former comrades made death threat in 2011

BELFAST, Northern Ireland –  A senior Irish Republican Army hard-liner has been shot to death in Belfast three years after former comrades in his splinter group threatened to kill them.
Nearby residents say gunmen escorted the victim, 43-year-old Tommy Crossan, to a fuel depot overlooked by houses and shot him in the head and body at close range.

No group claimed responsibility. Police and politicians blamed Crossan's former group, the Continuity IRA, of following through on 2011 death threats against him. The Continuity IRA accused him of keeping money from robberies and providing information on colleagues to British intelligence agents. Crossan denied this and refused to flee his native Catholic west Belfast.
The major IRA faction, the Provisionals, renounced violence in 2005 but other militant groups remain active. Their last killing was in October.
