Trey Gowdy Amid Death Threats: “I want to see every single solitary relevant material document” Relating to Benghazi”

AccoAccording to FoxNews, Gowdy has received death threats amidst his undertaking of the Benghazi investigative committee. 
Trey Gowdy will lead a special committee to investigate the White House’s response to the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Here is the list of the committee members:

He added, “I plan to ensure he and his committee have the strongest authority possible to root out all the facts. This is a big job, but Rep. Gowdy has the confidence of this conference, and I know his professionalism and grit will earn him the respect of the American people.”
“I want to see every single solitary relevant material document. In fact I want to see everything for which there can be any argument it is relevant and then we can judge whether it is material,” Gowdy said in an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Monday night.
“I’m not interested in summaries, I’m not interested in synopses, I’m interested in access to the documents and the witness and I’m not interested in whether the appropriate questions were asked in the past,” he said.

This hair-raising report from a best-selling book by a former Secret Service agents working for Obama is astounding. Obama had 20-30 gay partners a day and prayed to Allah all day. He forced the SS agent to listen to Diana Ross at full volume day and night until he finally left because of that.

Anonymous Tries to Found a Legit News Organization, It Goes Badly

A little over a year ago, some members of the Anonymous hacktivist collective decided they'd try to found their own news organization. So they did what young people who have a dream do as a matter of course these days: they set up an Indiegogo campiagn. They raised over $50,000. And now more than $30,000 of that is gone.

This sad song, which to be utterly fair has been sung many times by people not quite as explicitly dedicated to anarchy and chaos as most Anonymous members are, was memorialized in a long pastebin post over the weekend. It was (apparently unironically) titled "Truth and reconciliation," a phrase associated primarily with post-apartheid inquiry commission in South Africa.

The report reveals that the culprit is one "JackalAnon," the alias for a Denver man named Christopher Banks. He was the force behind the original fundraising campaign, which sought to capitalize on the popularity of the @YourAnonNews twitter account to create a news organization which would reflect the not-terribly-coherent values of the hacktivist collective as a whole. (Less "celebrity and political gossip" seems to have been key to the plan.)

Banks personally collected the just-under-$55,000 that resulted from the campaign, and he does seem to have arranged for the manufacture of the various tchotchkes promised to the campaign's 1,300-or-so donors. But after that, what he did with the money gets pretty murky.

Alarms were raised when the merchandise was never mailed out, and at that point other Anonymous collective members stepped in to save the project. Per the pastebin report:

The password was subsequently passed on to DellCam and Emmi, after which Dell changed the password and had the only access.

First suspected Boko Haram terrorists arrested by US Marines

WASHINGTON, MAY 9, 2014 – US Marines in Nigeria have made an arrest, taking two suspected Boko Haram terrorists into custody. The men were found in possession of guns and ammunition during what is being called a “targeted search.”
US Marines arrived in the area in order to assist in the recovering of 234 girls kidnaped by the the terrorist group Boko Haram from the Government Girls Secondary School Chibok.  It took more than three weeks before the Nigerian government accepted help in their battle against the terrorist group.
France, the UK, the US and China are all offering support including intelligence, training and military assistance.   Since Wednesday, US troops have arrived in Nigeria where they are providing security for the World Economic Forum on Africa.
Marines are expected to join Nigerian soldiers in pursuing Boko Haram into the Sambisa Forest in Borno State where they are believed to have spirited the kidnapped girls to.  Major General Chris Olukolade, Nigeria’s director of defense in­formation, says the two suspected Boko Haram members were arrested at Any­ibe in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.
The arrests including a teenager and an elderly man and happened during a a cordon-and-search operation. The two men were found to be in possession of two rifles, three locally fabricated pistols and 61 rounds of special ammunition. The teenager, who is currently in custody, was said to be in possession of the guns.
Boko Haram, whose name loosely translated means ‘Western Education is sin,” attacked the all-girls high school in Borno state on April 14 and kidnapped approximately 276 students. According to news.com.au, 53 girls did managed to escape. The girls, who had been taking exams, were loaded onto trucks by the militants and taken to an unknown location.
Following that attack, Boko Haram militants have gone into homes and captured eight more children before attacking persons at an open air market in Gamboru, in remote northeastern Nigeria near the border with Cameroon. At least 50 bodies have been recovered, many horribly burned, in the town.

Fed Chair: ‘Deficits Will Rise to Unsustainable Levels’

(CNSNews.com) - Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen, referencing the Congressional Budget Office's long-term budget projections, told the Joint Economic Committee of Congress today that under current policies the federal government’s deficits “will rise to unsustainable levels.”
In the 10-year budget projections it released in April, the CBO estimated that the federal government will run $7.618 trillion in deficits from 2015 through 2024. At the same time, the CBO projected that the federal government’s debt held by the public would rise from $11.983 trillion at the end of fiscal 2013 to $20.947 trillion by the end of 2024.
The debt held by the public is the part of the U.S. government debt that is not held by the federal government itself. It primarily consists of marketable Treasury securities, including bills, notes and bonds. It does not include what the government calls “intragovernmental debt," which is the money the Treasury has borrowed out of the Social Security Trust Fund and other government trust funds to pay current expenses.
The total debt of the federal government at the end of fiscal 2013--including both the debt held by the public and the intragovernmental debt--was $16.719 trillion. The CBO estimates that by 2024, the total debt of the federal government will be $27.159 trillion—of which $20.947 trillion will be debt held by the public.
If that projection holds up, the federal debt held by the public in 2024 would be more than four times the $5.035 trillion federal debt held by the public at the end of 2007.

Hillary Clinton, Boko Haram and Benghazi: The Real Scandal

Hillary Clinton’s leadership as Secretary of State regarding the Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram could become at least as serious an issue as her decisions surrounding the attack on the U.S. consulate Benghazi.
Much of the attention Thursday was on the announcement that the House will create a select committee to investigate Benghazi, but the same day, Daily Beast reporter Josh Rogin revealed details about her time as Secretary of State that raise significant questions about her broader record on issues of terrorism.
Rogin reported that from 2011 through early 2013, the Clinton State Department repeatedly rejected efforts to designate Boko Haram as a terrorist organization. In recent weeks, the group has exploded onto the world stage by kidnapping more than 250 girls at a Nigerian boarding school.
It is so clearly and vividly a terrorist organization that it seems indefensible that the Clinton State Department would have refused to designate it as such. A thorough investigation of the decision process that protected Boko Haram from 2011 until late 2013 could be devastating.
Now that Boko Haram has attracted worldwide attention for its vicious assault on young girls, political leaders, including former Secretary Clinton, are rushing to issue emotionally powerful but practically meaningless statements.

EXCLUSIVE! Benghazi Bombshell: Valerie Jarrett, Commander in Chief 

Confidential sources close to Conservative Report have confirmed that Valerie Jarrett was the key decision-maker for the administration, the night of the Benghazi terrorist attack on 9/11/2012.

The chronology of the evening of 9/11 are as follows:

At approximately 5 PM Washington time, reports came in through secure-channels that Special Mission Benghazi was under attack. Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey summoned the President,and briefed him on the crisis, face to face.

Subsequent to that brief meeting, President Obama proceeded to the White House to dine in his living quarters.

After supper, Barack Obama had a telephone conference scheduled with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Senior Advisor to the President, Valerie Jarrett was present for that conference, which was held due to problems the President was having with the perception of him snubbing Netanyahu in previous, formal encounters.

The telephone call between Obama and Netanyahu carried on for a full two-hours, creating the appearance of respect between the two world leaders.

As that meeting drew to a close, Ms. Jarrett, who is also the Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, went from the living quarters to the White House Situation Room, where the attack in Benghazi was being monitored by Dempsey, Panetta and other top-ranking officials.

Whether she was instructed by the President to go there, or if she went of her own volition,  is only known by the President and herself.

A critical question that needed to be answered, and the sole military-order that could have launched offensive-actions, neutralizing the Ansar al Sharia terrorists attacks on the Mission (the purpose of which is detailed here) and its subsequent attacks on the adjacent CIA Annex, was the issuance of “Cross Border Authority”, an order that can only be issued by the Commander in Chief, himself.

As was reported earlier by Conservative Report, Cross Border Authority was denied.

Dem Charlie Rangel: Americans Won’t ‘Lose Any Sleep’ Over Benghazi

On Thursday, New York Democrat Charlie Rangel had some strong words for Republicans when he claimed that the Republican charge to investigate the Benghazi scandal is a non-issue for voters.
Spoiler alert: He’s wrong.
“I think it’s tragic that the Republican Party would destroy itself in 2016 by not having one issue that the American people believe should be a priority,” Rangel claimed.

“I don’t think people, Americans, Democratic or Republicans, are going to lose sleep over Benghazi. And I really think that they’re concerned about the economy and jobs and immigration. What I’m talking about is, is that if the Democrats are the only ones standing on their feet in 2016, America has lost.”

Rangel also wondered why a new select committee was being assembled and noted that Rep. Darrell Issa, “has had all of these hours and days and weeks and months investigating this, that now you`re saying you have no confidence in him, so you have to bring in a new member to head up a new committee to find the answers?”

The answer: we still haven’t gotten to the bottom of this.

While Rangel is correct that Americans are, in fact, concerned with such things as the economy and immigration, the truth is that the majority of Americans don’t believe that the Obama Administration is being truthful with regards to Benghazi.

People are interested. When a government’s weak foreign policy invites terrorists to attack our consulate without fear of consequences, people are interested.

When it’s revealed that security requests were denied by the State Department soon before four Americans were slaughtered, people are interested.

CNN Guest Admits Panel Is Playing Into Democratic Hands

On Friday's New Day, the CNN panel was discussing whether or not Republicans are politicizing the Benghazi tragedy and The Atlantic's Molly Ball admitted the subject matter was playing right into Democratic hands.
"This is exactly the story that Democrats would like us to be talking about, right?" she asserted. "Instead of talking about the facts, instead of talking about an investigation that seems serious and that is unearthing new information, we're talking about how political it is." [Audio here.]

NewsBusters has documented how the media, when actually covering the Benghazi special investigation, have put much of their focus on Democratic disgust with the GOP supposedly politicizing the tragedy. Ball's observation casts light on how CNN was boosting the Democratic agenda in that segment.
Earlier in the show, co-host Chris Cuomo let DNC chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-Fla.) claim that Republicans should focus on "priorities" like the economy rather than Benghazi. He encouraged her to "fight the good fight" and have Democrats participate in the special investigation rather than boycott it.
"So go fight the good fight. So let's say everything you're saying is true. Go fight the good fight. Go ask about yellow cake. Go ask about the weapons of mass destruction and where the anger was and outrage from these same people who are so outraged now about Benghazi?" he told Wasserman-Schultz.

Mitt Romney Slams Hillary Clinton's time as Secretary of State .. Not Good Years for the United States abroad (Full Video 05-09-14)

In an interview with the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was asked about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s decision not to list the Nigerian terror group Boko Haram as an official Foreign Terrorist Organization. Romney used the opportunity to critique Clinton’s record at the State Department. He said those years were not good years for the United States abroad and her tenure in the Obama administration will be a “liability” for her if she runs for president in 2016.

Romney began by saying that Clinton needs to clarify why her State Department failed to classify Boko Haram as a terrorist organization when they orchestrated a bombing of a United Nations’ facility in Abuja in 2011.

“With regards to her career as Secretary of State , I think that’s going to be an enormous liability for her,” Romney said. “Frankly, the four years she served as secretary of state were not good years for the united states of America abroad.”
