Kingdom of Hawaii challenges US over sovereignty
The CEO of the Hawaiian Affairs Office (OHA) has
retained his job and gained public support to challenge the US on
whether the Kingdom of Hawaii still exists as a sovereign country.
Kamanaopono Crabbe sparked an internal crisis when he sent a letter
to US Secretary of State John Kerry, asking for a ruling on whether the
Kingdom of Hawaii still legally exists. The letter, which was quickly rescinded by the OHA’s trustees, was prompted by the US Government’s acknowledgment that the overthrow of the kingdom in 1893 was illegal.
Political scientist Dr Keanu Sai, from Windward Communtiy College in Honolulu, told Pacific Beat the OHA board thought Dr Crabbe had violated their policy by sending the letter without approval, but later realised they were mistaken.
“[Dr Crabbe] was not in violation of any policy of the board but rather was operating on his diligence and risk management,” Dr Sai said.
Mr Crabbe has now won the support of the OHA trustees, who have moved to send the letter again and retain him in his role as CEO.
“They’re in full support and they say that his questions definitely do have merit.”
Public support for Mr Crabbe’s campaign is also growing, with 2,500 people signing an online petition.
Dr Sai said Hawaiians need clarification on the issue.
“What was overthrown was the government, not the country,” he said.
Dr Sai blames revisionist history education for misconstruing local understanding of Hawaii’s true status.
“A revisionist history has been taught here in Hawaii since the early 1900s that presented Hawaii as if it was a part of the United States when in fact there is clear evidence that it’s not,” he said.
“We need to address this because it will affect our people but it also affects everyone.”
Dr Sai says if the Kingdom of Hawaii does indeed still exist, many historical treaties with nations including the UK and Australia would still be in effect.
Here is a comprehensive history of Barack Hussein Obama’s background. This is an older video, but still, none of these questions have been answered. Its gone viral this week on Facebook, and there’s a reason why. People still want to know the answers.

Dems Meeting This Week To Formulate Plan To Deal With Hillary Clinton’s Involvement In Benghazi Scandal
A broad array of Democrats — including Hillary Clinton’s allies — are meeting this week to hammer out a united front on national security issues, including a clear response to Republicans over the Benghazi controversy. They see an opportunity to wrest control of a narrative that some allies fear could be damaging to Clinton if she moves ahead with a 2016 presidential campaign.
A major milestone in the effort will take place this Friday, when a coalition of Democratic-leaning groups and influentials converges at the headquarters of the centrist think-tank Third Way for a briefing that includes top Clinton adviser Philippe Reines.
The meeting is one in a series that Third Way has convened with Democrats since the George W. Bush era to discuss and shape national security policy. But at least some Democrats involved in the upcoming session are hoping it results in a coordinated and strengthened response to the new congressional probe into the deadly Benghazi attack.
Several people involved in the meeting say Reines was invited to speak at Third Way on Friday to discuss the chapter of Clinton’s upcoming book “Hard Choices” that covers the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks on U.S. diplomatic outposts in Benghazi that left four Americans dead — including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. Reines is one of a handful of guests who are expected to speak on a number of topics. Other anticipated areas of discussion include President Barack Obama’s Wednesday speech about foreign policy.

When the Nigerian terrorist group Boko
Haram bombed a Catholic church on Christmas Day 2011, killing dozens of
Christians, no one heard a peep from then-Secretary of State Hillary
Rodham Clinton. Or when the same group burned alive dozens of boys at a
boarding school in February of this year, again, Hillary Clinton was
silent. Only when over two hundred girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram
and Hillary Clinton could use it to prop up her 2016 presidential
bid—commandeering the #BringOurGirlsBack hashtag on Twitter—did Clinton
speak up. Hillary Clinton, however, should have kept her mouth shut.
This revealed that in 2011, after Boko Haram had been on a killing spree for over two years, Hillary Clinton refused to designate Boko Haram as a terrorist group. This was no mere indecision: The Department of Justice,
FBI, and CIA had formally requested that Boko Haram be designated a
terrorist group in 2011. When Clinton openly refused, in 2012, the Congressional Committees on Homeland Security and Counterterrorism and Intelligence requested that:
You…immediately designate the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO), in accordance with Section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), as amended, and designate Boko Haram as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity (SDGT)…
And Boko Haram wasn’t just a threat to Nigeria, as cited by the congressional request, but was a threat to the United States. The November 2011 congressional report “Boko Haram: Emerging Threat to the U.S. Homeland” spelled out in plain language that Boko Haram was working in tandem with al-Qaeda and posed an imminent threat to the United States.
Still, Hillary Clinton refused to act. The result was the bombing of a Catholic church in Nigeria a month later, in which forty-two Christians were massacred.

A 2010 Pentagon directive on military support to civilian authorities details what critics say is a troubling policy that envisions the Obama administration’s potential use of military force against Americans.
The directive contains noncontroversial provisions on support to civilian fire and emergency services, special events and the domestic use of the Army Corps of Engineers.
