Miners Say Obama’s War on Energy Will Cost 485,000 Jobs

We’re just capping off and trading American jobs to any country that wants them.

Labor unions criticized the Environmental Protection Agency’s new regulations on carbon emissions from power plants on Monday, highlighting growing tensions between the environmentalist and working class arms of the Democratic Party.
United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) president Cecil Roberts blasted the proposal, saying it would leave tens of thousands of the union’s members unemployed.
“The proposed rule … will lead to long-term and irreversible job losses for thousands of coal miners, electrical workers, utility workers, boilermakers, railroad workers and others without achieving any significant reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions,” Roberts said in a statement.
According to a UMWA analysis, Roberts said, the rule will cause 75,000 job losses in the coal sector by 2020, rising to 152,000 by 2035.
“When a U.S. government economic multiplier used to calculate the impact of job losses is applied to the entire economy, we estimate that the total impact will be about 485,000 permanent jobs lost,” Roberts said.

The left has gone from treating miners like heroes to turning them into enemies of the state. The wealthy special interests of Big Green have made billions from Obama Inc. and they won’t stop until they destroy what’s left of the working class they hate.

“It’s clear the administration needs to grow a set of antlers, or perhaps take a lesson from Popeye and eat some spinach,” the president of the Laborers International Union of North America said at the time.

Ethics Charges Filed for Multiple Democrat Senators for Corruption

Thanks to some intrepid journalism and numerous Freedom of Information Act requests, we have learned a great deal about the IRS targeting of conservative groups.
One thing in particular that has been learned is that the IRS targeting occurred at the behest of several Democrat Senators, and that the IRS broke the law by providing tax information to these Senators and their allies in order to help the Democrat Party mitigate their losses in the 2010 and 2012 elections.
It all stems from President Obama and the Democrats frustration over the Citizens United Supreme Court decision that cleared the way for conservative and libertarian political groups to get more involved in the political process.

Top Dem Senator TOLD IRS to Target Conservatives

For months, liberals have claimed that the IRS scandal wasn’t legitimate, referring to it as a “phony scandal.” They’ve called conservatives liars and whiners, refusing to investigate the blatant targeting of conservative groups.
But we know the truth: Eric Holder tried to use IRS targeting to have conservative leaders arrested, and top congressional Democrats were in on it as well.
Angry conservatives have been calling for an official criminal investigation, and after months and months of waiting, Darrell Issa was able to subpoena related IRS documents from Eric Holder.

Steve Forbes Predicts Second Great Depression If This Doesn’t Happen… 

Publishing executive and two-time presidential candidate Steve Forbes has built a distinguished career from his financial expertise. As he dissects the current administration’s economic policy in his latest book, he reveals several troubling signs that we might be in more trouble as a nation than even many of Obama’s fiercest critics realize.
He blames the Federal Reserve’s policy of printing fiat currency for a situation he said cannot be reversed without returning to a gold standard.

The entity, he explained, is engaged in “vastly misguided monetary policies” that “are now setting the stage for a new economic and social catastrophe – one that could rival the financial crisis and horrors of the 1930s.”
The book, “Money: How the Destruction of the Dollar Threatens the Global Economy – and What We Can Do About It,” was released this week and includes a number of serious allegations about the Fed and the Obama administration’s policies that enable it to continue operating against the best interest of America’s future.
“The Fed should have only two tasks: keeping the dollar fixed to gold and dealing quickly and decisively with panics,” he wrote.
As the Washington Examiner reported in its sneak peek of the new book, Forbes and co-author Elizabeth Ames disapprove of current Fed Chair Janet Yellen and her predecessor, Ben Bernanke. Instead of wielding such widespread power over America’s financial future, Forbes writes that, in an “ideal world the head of the Federal Reserve would be no more important than the director of the Office of Weights and Measures inside the Department of Commerce.”
The argument of gold-backed currency is a common theme.
“The refusal of many in the policy establishment to entertain the idea of a return to a gold standard is based on astounding ignorance about just what a gold standard would mean and how it would work,” he wrote.
The Federal Reserve is responsible for a number of peripheral economic ills, the book explains, including inflation, high unemployment, a weak economic recovery, and skyrocketing national debt.

House to Launch Investigation of Obama for Releasing Terrorists

Many questions have been raised regarding President Obama’s unilateral decision to ignore the law, and the wishes of Congress, to release five deadly and dangerous terrorists from the Guantanamo prison.
People are demanding answers, and when even top Democrats are questioning the move, it demands an investigation.
There are already Congressional committees investigating the Benghazi attack, the IRS targeting of conservative groups, and the widespread corruption and carelessness that is rampant in the VA, among other scandalous activity perpetrated by Obama and his administration.
Now Wisconsin Representative and former Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan is promising a Congressional investigation into Obama’s illegal prisoner swap that provided “material support” to the Taliban, according to Politico.

Rep. Paul Ryan pledged Friday night that House Republicans will investigate President Barack Obama’s deal to secure the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
For now, he said, the Senate is a “graveyard of good ideas” and Republicans must focus on aggressive oversight as their best bet to hold Obama accountable.
“I’m part of the IRS investigation,” Ryan told about 600 people in a ballroom at the Hotel Roanoke. “We’ve got the Benghazi investigation, the Veterans Affairs investigation, and we’re going to do an investigation about this troop transfer with the Taliban. So we’ve got a lot on our plate.”

Ryan was in Virginia to rally support for GOP Senate candidate Ed Gillespie, and encouraged Republicans to set aside their few differences and unite in support of the cause that is removing Harry Reid from his position as Senate Majority Leader.

“We agree on the same principles. We actually all agree on the same policies … Every now and again we disagree on tactics,” he said. “So it’s very important that as a party we put those differences aside, we put them in perspective, and like Mel Gibson said in that great movie ‘Braveheart,’ ‘we need to unite the clans!’”

Let’s hope that Rep. Ryan is right, and the House is really going to investigate the prisoner exchange.  It is clear that Obama ignored the law and bypassed Congress.  What is less clear is, how much “material support” did Obama give to the terrorists?  Did he only return their top leaders that had been captured, or was cash involved in the deal as well?

China Places Nuclear Submarines Within Striking Distance of United States

For the first time in America’s history, China now possesses the ability to attack American cities as a way to counterbalance U.S. nuclear deterrence in the Pacific. Leading media outlets including People’s Daily and the Global Times ran identical headlines about the “awesomeness” of the Chinese submarine force.

“This is the first time in 42 years since the establishment of our navy’s strategic submarine force that we reveal on such a large scale the secrets of our first-generation underwater nuclear force,” the Global Times said in a lengthy article titled “China for the First Time Possesses Effective Underwater Nuclear Deterrence against the United States.”

The article also features 30 photos detailing how much damage a nuclear strike would cause cities such as Seattle and Los Angeles.
“Because the Midwest states of the U.S. are sparsely populated, in order to increase the lethality, [our] nuclear attacks should mainly target the key cities on the West Coast of the United States, such as Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego,” the Global Times said.
“The 12 JL-2 nuclear warheads carried by one single Type 094 SSBN can kill and wound 5 million to 12 million Americans.”

7 million have left workforce under Obama

How can President Obama keep claiming that he and his Administration have created millions of jobs when seven million Americans have left the workforce? Because he is a lousy, stinking, proven, liar, that’s why! Obama and his immediate advisors lie early and often. The total unemployment (U6 rate) even factoring the “cooking of the books” with the record low labor participation rate is about 12 percent. After a certain amount of time the Federal Government stops calculating the people who have left the workforce. If the total unemployment rate was calculated like when W. Bush was president, the total U6 unemployment rate would be around 20 percent.

Eric Holder Announces New “Domestic Terrorist” Program Targeting Americans

We have learned over the passage of the last few years that those who hold positions within the Obama regime exhibit behavior consistent with that of despotic tyrants of the past and present.

One of the chief offenders, Eric Holder, has just announced that he is coming after everyday American patriots, especially those who use the Internet. Apparently Holder believes the most dangerous kind of “lone wolf” is one who communicates with other lone wolves. That makes sense.

On Monday, he announced the creation of a special task force within the “Justice” Department to combat what he characterized as an “escalating danger” from “homegrown” terrorists within the U.S.

In an internal video presentation, Holder pointed to the questionable Boston Marathon bombing and the Fort Hood incidents as examples of homegrown threats.

While Nidal Hassan was born in the U.S. to Palestinian parents, the Tsarnaev brothers were born in the Kalmyk Autonomous region of the Soviet Union and Kyrgyzstan. The second Fort Hood shooter, Ivan Lopez, was originally from Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory.

Maybe that whole “homegrown” persona needs a qualifier attached to it. No matter, Holder’s using it as the premise to target both Americans and our right to freely communicate over the Internet.

The special task force will be composed of members of the FBI and the “Justice” Department’s National Security Division. There will be a wealth of attorneys as well, to prepare and process the paperwork and court documents.
