Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputy Exhibiting Ebola Symptoms
An afternoon news conference has been called in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas, to discuss a possible second case of Ebola.
According to a statement from the City of Frisco, the patient claims to have had contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, referred to as Dallas ‘patient zero.’The Frisco patient has been identified as a Dallas County deputy Michael Monnig, who was not one of the 48 people being monitored by federal, state and local health officials because he never had direct contact with the patient. Monnig responded and entered Duncan’s apartment.
The call came in shortly after noon from Care Now, 301 W. Main Street, where the patient was “exhibiting signs and symptoms of Ebola.”
CBS 11 has confirmed with Care Now that the facility is in contact with the Centers for Disease Control and is holding everyone in the facility until receiving clearance from the CDC. The patient has been transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital by Frisco firefighter-paramedics, the same hospital where Duncan, the first patient to be diagnosed with the virus on American soil, was admitted. Duncan died earlier today, after spending more than 10 days in isolation at that hospital.
Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas confirmed the patient’s arrival to the Emergency Room in statement, which reads in part, “Right now, there are more questions than answers about this case. Our professional staff of nurses and doctors is prepared to examine the patient, discuss any findings with appropriate agencies and officials. We are on alert with precautions and systems in place.” The hospital is still admitting and caring for other patients at this time.
Airline Cabin Cleaners Strike Over Ebola Exposure Fears
Nearly 200 airline cabin cleaners walked off the job at a New York City airport overnight, striking over health and safety issues that include fears over possible exposure to Ebola. The protest involves Air Serv cabin cleaners in Terminal D at New York’s LaGuardia airport, a contractor that serves Delta, as well as supporting workers from LaGuardia and JFK International airports.
Protesting workers carried signs and chanted during today’s rally, protesting against conditions that they say often find them encountering hypodermic needles, vomit and blood.
Meanwhile, the Service Employees International Union Local 32BJ was scheduled to conduct infectious disease training today for airport cabin cleaners, terminal cleaners and wheelchair attendants.
"The training will cover current guidance from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA)," the union said in a release. "This includes guidelines for cleaning airplane cabins and lavatories, for cleaning an area with possible Ebola exposure, and for determining which equipment employers are required to supply."
The union added, "Amid rising fears of the spread of the deadly Ebola virus, the training will help workers better identify infectious disease hazards and protect against exposure and spread."
Such a response comes as additional screening is scheduled to begin at JFK and four other main U.S. airports, a means of trying to catch any travelers from Ebola-ravaged countries who may be carrying the disease.

The individual was brought to Centinela Hospital Medical Center by ambulance from Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday night, the hospital stated.
“The patient does not have any symptoms of Ebola, however, due to travel history, appropriate precautions were implemented,” the hospital’s statement read.
The unidentified person, who was referred to in the statement’s headline as a “possible Ebola patient,” has been fully isolated in the emergency room and all appropriate testing will be conducted, the hospital said.
Ebola rattles Spain as First Case Transmitted Outside of Africa Hits Home
Spanish health officials rushed Tuesday to contain the Ebola virus after it got past Europe's defenses, quarantining four people at a Madrid hospital where a nursing assistant was infected. The first case of Ebola transmitted outside Africa brought heightened concern about safety of health workers, with some complaining of a lack of training and equipment to handle the deadly virus. Spanish opposition parties called for the resignation of Health Minister Ana Mato, and the European Union demanded answers to what went wrong.
The female assistant nurse was part of a medical team that treated Manuel Garcia Viejo, 69, who died Sept. 25 at Madrid's Carlos III hospital after contracting Ebola in Sierra Leone.
The nurse was also a member of a medical team that treated another Spanish priest who earlier died from Ebola, but it's believed she contracted the virus from Viejo.
America’s Kids are getting Sick and ‘They’ Know Exactly Why
“But this one, this particular Enterovirus 68, is very rare and they have no idea why it showed up this year.”- ABC News Chief Health and Medical Editor Dr. Richard Besser
NO idea why…I don’t think so as ‘they’ know exactly why our kids are getting sick…as in its just another little bit of ‘anything but happiness’ from our borders NOT being secured…period.
And so it seems that soon after the deluge of pint-sized criminals crossed ILLEGALLY into our country because of those unsecured borders…and with them still coming but to a somewhat lesser degree…our kids started to get sick…very very sick. And it has been well documented that many of those pint-sized criminals were sick when they crossed with what ‘they’ tried to pass off as NOTHING but mere ‘sniffles.’ But isn’t it more than a bit coincidental that ‘suddenly’ an extremely rare respiratory virus started hitting our kids…hitting them hard all across the country…hitting them in the very states where Barack HUSSEIN Obama dumped these thousands of pint-size criminals. And our kids are getting sick because they have NO immunities to something they have NEVER been exposed to before.
CBS Buries Results of Own Poll Showing Poor Ratings for Obama, Democrats Ahead of Midterms
-
Wednesday night, the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley made no mention of the results from the latest CBS News poll that gave President Obama and Democrats poor marks ahead of the November 4 midterm elections on issues ranging from the economy to ISIS to terrorism to who voters are most likely to vote for.
Regarding the midterm elections, Republicans find themselves ahead of Democrats on both a generic ballot and specific issues. Republicans have a six point lead against Democrats overall (49 percent to 43 percent with those leaning left or right, 46 percent to 40 percent without) and a five point lead who voters would like most to see takeover the Senate (47 percent to 42 percent). Independents sided with the GOP by a full 30 points over Democrats (57 percent to 27 percent).
When it came to who voters trust to do a better job on the economy, foreign policy, and terrorism, the picture is the same. On the topic of terrorism, the GOP holds an massive lead of 21 points over Democrats at 52 percent to 32 percent and then advantages of 9 and 11 percentage points on the economy and foreign policy, respectively.
For President Obama, voters are not giving him high remarks either. While CBS News congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes said Tuesday night that criticizing Obama on his handling of ISIS is “a tricky campaign issue” because he “does have a plan now,” voters are proving Cordes otherwise, as only 36 percent of voters said that he does have a plan, while 56 percent still say that he doesn’t.
Also, a mere 36 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s handling of foreign policy while 56 percent disapprove. On how he has been handling ISIS and terrorism, 51 percent of Americans disapprove of the job he’s doing in both categories. Additionally, 52 percent of voters disapprove of his handling of the economy (53 percent approve).
Countdown to 2014 Midterms: Embattled House Democrats Turn Against Nancy Pelosi
She has long been among Republicans' top targets, but some of her own now see value in turning against their leader.
October 8, 2014 - House Republicans have surprising new company in attacking Nancy
Pelosi: her fellow House Democrats.
Three Democrats running in GOP-leaning House districts have used late-stage television ads in a bid to distance themselves from the liberal leader of Democrats' House caucus—the same caucus they're fighting to join in 2015.
"Here's what I believe: Congress is broken," says Gwen Graham, one of the Democratic Party's top recruits, in a recent TV ad as a photo of Pelosi and House Speaker John Boehner flashes on the screen. "Both parties—Republican and Democrat—are to blame. And both need new leaders in Washington."

17 YEAR OLD BLACK SHOOTS 15 PEOPLE-LAMESTREAM MEDIA SILENT!
Here is a story you will not see in the lamestream media. 1 reason is because the shooter is black. You would think the left gun grabbing media would be all over this but they are silent.
NBC Miami reports:
Miami Police announced Monday that 17-year-old Will Campbell has been arrested for the mass shooting that left 15 people injured, including children, at a Miami night club on Sept. 28.
Police Chief Manuel Orosa said detectives had been looking for Campbell throughout the weekend before taking him into custody Monday afternoon. Police said Campbell has been talking with detectives with his mother present.
Chief Orosa said the shooting stemmed from a fight at Norland Senior High School.
“One of his friends got involved in a fight and when him and his friends arrived at The Spot, they found the other person involved in the fight there,” Orosa said. “He was told that (another patron) was the other juvenile involved in the fight. So, he took out a gun and shot that juvenile, who’s in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He also shot at the crowd as he was running away, hitting 14 other people.”
Orosa continued, “He will be charged with attempted first-degree murder and 14 counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.”
Police said since Campbell is still under 18, he will go through the juvenile justice system for now. Orosa said Campbell didn’t have much of an arrest history. The chief said Campbell had arrests for obstructing a police officer and possession of marijuana.
Campbell was arrested just days after The Spot’s manager Tiffany Johnson was arrested and given a notice to appear in court for allegedly selling liquor without a license.
Johnson, 31, was arrested after agents found bottles of liquor behind the bar during an inspection of the facility. The bar only had a license to sell beer and wine.
The owner of the land where The Spot sits, Elijah Dukes, told NBC 6 last week he had been trying to get in contact with The Spot’s owner John Stuart. Dukes said the business was “absolutely not” supposed to be operating as a club.
Dukes said the shooting was the first time police had been called to the property, which is the only commercial property Dukes owns.
Thousands of Kurds Protest against Turkey's Inaction as ISIS Advances on Kobane
Kurds across Turkey have vented their anger at the government's lack of military support for the defenders of the Syrian border town of Kobane being attacked by Islamic State militants.
Police used tear gas and water cannon as unrest spread to at least six cities. At least nine people died.
Turkish troops and tanks have lined the border but have not crossed into Syria.
Fresh US-led air strikes have tried to repel IS, but Turkey's president warned Kobane was "about to fall".
At least 400 people have died in three weeks of fighting for Kobane, monitors say, and 160,000 Syrians have fled.
If IS captures Kobane, its jihadists will control a long stretch of the Syrian-Turkish border.

China Just Surpassed America in an Unprecedented Way, Thanks Obama!
Despite the promises of “hope and change” getting Obama elected for two solid terms, it seems that the effect of his presidency is coming into focus. According to a recent study, China has just surpassed America in terms of the world’s largest economy.Although America has had the world’s largest economy since at least the 1920’s, in one fell swoop of false promises, Obama has allowed for this long-standing reality to simply fall by the wayside. The news was announced by the International Monetary Fund who measured “both GDP in market-exchange terms and in terms of purchasing power” to come to their conclusion.
As reported by the Business Insider:
The simple logic is that prices aren’t the same in each country: A shirt will cost you less in Shanghai than in San Francisco, so it’s not entirely reasonable to compare countries without taking this into account. Though a typical person in China earns a lot less than the typical person in the US, simply converting a Chinese salary into dollars underestimates how much purchasing power that individual, and therefore that country, might have.
This growth doesn’t seem to be stopping. “By the end of 2014, China will make up 16.48% of the world’s purchasing-power adjusted GDP (or $17.632 trillion), and the US will make up just 16.28% (or $17.416 trillion),” according to the Business Insider.
Benghazi Survivor: Administration's Distortion of Events is 'a Lie'
#1- Kris Paronto: Administration’s distortion of Benghazi events is a lie (TRT:24)Kris Paronto, Benghazi survivor: I’ve said it a million times now why are they lying about what happened that night. Why are they misleading people when we knew the truth and we had passed it on to our superiors at that time as well. It made me very angry and it still makes me angry to this day. I’ll say that a million times again. It was misleading, it was not the truth, it was a lie.
#2- Mark Geist describes Benghazi victim Glen Doherty (TRT:22)
Mark Geist, Benghazi survivor: Her son was one of the bravest guys I’ve met. He came up on that roof with no regard for himself to help out to do what he could, to lend a hand cause he had the experience as a sniper, he’s a shooter. He’s drawn to the fire, the gunfire, that’s where it’s at, that’s where it’s happening, that’s where you’re going to.
The Fourth Horseman has Arrived
“I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” – Revelation 6:8The Four Horsemen of Apocalypse as named in Revelation are Conquest, War, Famine,
and Death.
It is an apt metaphor for what is occurring in America today. Ebola is now raging in several African nations, Liberia, Sierra Leon, Guinea, and Nigeria.
On September 30 the first African to make it to the U.S. with Ebola was identified. By October 8 he was dead. Ebola has arrived and, despite everything that the various agencies of the Obama Administration are telling us—the Centers for Disease Control and Homeland Security—I have no confidence it will not keep arriving.
Rather than denying entry to those living in the nations where Ebola exists, there is no indication that U.S. embassies have been instructed to not issue visas. The notion that airline employees or those on alert in five U.S. airports could spot signs of an Ebola infection is so unlikely that merely scanning those suspected of having a fever provides little protection.
Britain and France have ended flights to or from the affected nations. The U.S. has not. This provides zero protection to flight crews, nor those at the arrival airports who process passengers. No mention is made of our porous southern border that is trespassed daily.
Disgusting that the President is still devoting more time to political fundraising than attending to his greatest responsibility, the protection of Americans
When one considers the evidence of incompetence in the nation’s federal agencies, there is scant reason to believe that either the CDC or HS are up to the task of protecting Americans, no matter how sincere their efforts. These are massive bureaucracies and they have been told not to spread any panic and their spokespersons at press conferences have held closely to this directive. No one wants panic, but neither do we want to be lulled into believing that Ebola cannot penetrate their efforts.
The only protection is to ensure that no one with even the potential of having Ebola is permitted access to the nation. Simply asking potential Ebola victims a few questions in foreign airports is tantamount to no protection.
Threatening Letters Sent to Elementary Schools Warn of ISIS-Style Murder of Schoolchildren
Three letters sent to elementary schools in the Warwick, Cranston, and Johnston districts in Rhode Island threaten schoolchildren and contain the chilling words “beheading is planned.”
The incident was reported by the Providence-Journal and the letters have instantly garnered the attention of the FBI.
The Warwick Police Chief Stephen M. McCartney cautioned parents not to panic and assured them that police and FBI were on the case.
“While the words are very chilling,” McCartney said. “I certainly would want to emphasize that the safest place right now is in school. I’ve got a police officer in every school and so the other [sic] jurisdictions.”
The police have increased security and surveillance around Rhode Island schools, but that hasn’t stopped some from questioning the move to keep the schools open. Opposing Views reported:
“We are providing the security that is necessary,” he said. “We know that whoever did this decided to create the most chaos he could by picking on the most vulnerable.”
Nonetheless, a significant number of parents have elected to not send their children to school, and demand evidence that the threat has passed. As the Inquistr reported, WPRI 12 said that “at least one-third of Cranston students were absent from school, and 40 percent of the students in Johnston stayed home.”
If these letters prove to be authentic, the United States government will have further explaining to do about why it refuses to vigorously prosecute a war against an enemy that is bringing war upon Americans, whether the politicians admit it or not.
Recent reports confirm there are a growing number of Americans sympathetic to ISIS and are even willing to join and fight alongside the murderous terrorist group abroad.
If ISIS and its sympathizers, like the Moore, Oklahoma beheader, continue targeting innocent civilians on the homeland, Americans will no longer be able to stand for the complacent politicians who do little else besides sit on their hands while it happens.

“School should be cancelled in those cities tomorrow until they figure out if it is a real threat. Why risk kids and teacher’s lives?” read one of the comments.Police Chief McCartney has done his utmost to reassure parents in the community, and has pointed out one possible motive behind the letter.
As a heightened security measure, elementary school children in all three cities will have indoor recess and gym. Furthermore, all school doors will be locked throughout the day, and an I.D. will be required to gain entry. Police officers, both undercover and uniformed, will reportedly be present in elementary schools for the remainder of the week.

Conservatives to change copyright law, allowing free use of news content in political ads
The proposed legislation is buried in the latest instalment of the omnibus bill, which is sure to pass in the House of Commons, given the Conservative majority. The bill will be introduced in the coming weeks.
Opposition parties say sneaking in a change to the Copyright Act in the massive bill is “deceitful” and designed to give the Conservative campaign an edge ahead of next year’s federal election.
“Changing copyright law … to improve their odds of winning over the Canadian public as opposed to improving copyright law to improve the economy, let’s say, is disrespectful,” NDP finance critic Nathan Cullen told CTV News.
