Kerry: 'We've earned the right' to Iran deal 'without interference' from Congress

Secretary of State John Kerry described the nuclear agreement with Iran as a "global mandate" that Congress only "assisted" in creating.
"This is a global mandate issued by the United Nations," Kerry said Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation." "Congress assisted by passing sanctions."

Sunday's "Meet the Press" was of course largely focused on Hillary's declaration of her candidacy for the White House, and I was glad to be a part of it.
My contribution to the panel that resonated with the Twitterverse was remarking on how the latest Clinton rollout has a surreal "Weekend at Bernie's" feel — one which was exacerbated by New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio's refusal to endorse Hillary when directly and repeatedly asked about doing so by host Chuck Todd. Dems are working overtime to prop up a candidate who seems on the verge of collapse before she's even begun.

A rural Oregon man was sentenced Wednesday to 30 days in jail and over $1,500 in fines because he had three reservoirs on his property to collect and use rainwater.
Gary Harrington of Eagle Point, Ore., says he plans to appeal his conviction in Jackson County (Ore.) Circuit Court on nine misdemeanor charges under a 1925 law for having what state water managers called “three illegal reservoirs” on his property – and for filling the reservoirs with rainwater and snow runoff.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Defense Secretary Ash Carter urged lawmakers on Wednesday to endorse plans for a Pentagon base budget that exceeds federal spending caps by $35 billion, saying another year of cuts would leave the military unable to execute U.S. defense strategy.

US Navy Admiral Calls for the Impeachment of Barack H. Obama for THIS High Crime

Retired Adm. James A. Lyons, a longtime critic of the Obama administration, said that the tentative P5+1 agreement with Iran is “a sham” and called for Obama’s impeachment for reaching the agreement.
