IRS To Pay $50k For Leaking Conservative Groups Tax Return & Donor List

The IRS has admitted wrongdoing and agreed to pay a $50,000 settlement to a conservative group after confidential information from the group’s tax returns about its donors was published on the website of a political opponent.

A federal court ordered the U.S. government to pay the settlement to the National Organization for Marriage, a group that opposes same-sex marriage. The group sued the IRS last year after tax information from a 2008 form was leaked and ended up being published in 2012 by the Human Rights Campaign, which supports gay rights.

The group’s chairman John Eastman said in a statement Tuesday that he is thankful that the IRS is being held accountable after a “long and arduous” process.

“Thanks to a lot of hard work, we've forced the IRS to admit that they in fact were the ones to break the law and wrongfully released this confidential information,” he said.

More proof the Obama administration is covering up the political persecution it inflicted on its conservative political enemies through the Internal Revenue Service emerged yesterday as a federal official accused the White House of breaking the law by hiding emails.

Whenever the records, including emails, of federal agencies are destroyed — whether intentional or inadvertent — the law requires that the National Archives be notified. But that did not happen when the computer hard drives of a former IRS official and six of her IRS subordinates allegedly crashed in 2011, destroying records of emails now at the heart of a congressional corruption probe.

Report finds 6.9 million multiple voters in 28 states
 

Some 6.9 million Americans are registered to vote in two or more states, according to a report obtained by Watchdog.org.
Says Catherine Engelbrecht, president of the election-watch group True The Vote:

Our nation’s voter rolls are a mess. Sensible approaches to roll maintenance are fought tooth and nail by radical special interests who can use the duplicity in the system to their advantage.

The latest interstate voter cross check tallied 6,951,484 overlapping voter registrations, and they’re just the tip of the iceberg. The cross-check program involves only 28 states and does not include the three largest: California, Texas and Florida.

Dr. Ben Carson has become well known lately for speaking truth to power, calling things like he sees them, and for the lost art of employing common sense, logic and reason to find solutions to the problems that are ailing our country.
He has called out President Obama over his healthcare law, said that Obama is turning America into a third-world country, and accused Obama of using the IRS like his personal “gestapo“.

Vice President Joe Biden inadvertently offered U.S. citizenship to thousands, or even tens of thousands, of illegal immigrants from Central America — even though he was trying to persuade them to not cross the border.

“We’re going to hold hearings with our judges consistent with international law and American law, and we’re going to send the vast majority of you back,” he said during a June 20 press press conference in Guatemala.

But “vast majority” is not “all.” So Biden’s statement says the U.S. will award the Grand Prize in human life — ‘U.S. citizenship for you and all your descendants’ — to the illegal immigrants who are not among the “vast majority” who are sent home.

Biden scheduled the press conference to help stop the accelerating deluge of 90,000 adults, youths and children who have crossed the Texas border since last October.

Biden compounded his televised gaffe by telling Central Americans the legal formula for winning the citizenship prize.

Migrants “have a right under our law to make the case… that ‘We’re here because we’re avoiding persecution, we’re avoiding something [which] will physically affect our safety,” he said.

In case the TV audiences in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador missed his legal advice, Biden repeated it. “We’re sending immigration judges, [taxpayer-provided] attorneys to represent these young people and families with young people… who are claiming credible fear, and [who] are eligible to apply for asylum,” he reiterated.

China plans investment bank to break World Bank dominance

China is moving forward with a plan to create its own version of the World Bank, which will rival institutions that are under the sway of the US and the West. The bank will start with $100 billion in capital.
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will extend China’s financial reach and compete not only with the World Bank, but also with the Asian Development Bank, which is heavily dominated by Japan. The $100 billion in capital is double that originally proposed, the Financial Times (FT) reported.
A member of the World Bank, China has less voting power than countries like the US, Japan, and the UK. It is in the ‘Category II’ voting bloc, giving it less of a voice. In the Asian Development Bank, China only holds a 5.5 percent share, compared to America’s 15.7 percent share and Japan’s 15.6 share.
At the International Monetary Fund, China pays a 4 percent quota, whereas the US pays nearly 18 percent, and therefore has more influence within the organization and where loans go.
“China feels it can’t get anything done in the World Bank or the IMF so it wants to set up its own World Bank that it can control itself,” the FT quoted a source close to discussions as saying.
To date, 22 countries have expressed interest in the project, including oil-rich Middle Eastern nations, the US, India, Europe, and even Japan, the FT reported.
“There is a lot of interest from across Asia but China is going to go ahead with this even if nobody else joins it,” the FT source said.
Funding for the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will mostly be sourced from the People’s Republic of China and be used to pay for infrastructure projects.
The bank’s first project will be a reincarnation of the ancient Silk Road, the vast network of trade routes between China and its regional neighbors. Another proposed project is a railway from Beijing to Baghdad.
The idea for the bank was first floated in October 2013, when China unveiled plans to create the bank. Then it was initially to be funded with $50 billion in capital.

Maybe Bill Clinton should have spent more time talking with his neighbors and with people at the grocery store, because they might have told him that laughing off the purchase of 14 $550 watches makes him appear a bit out of touch.
Speaking before the Clinton Global Initiative one day after explaining that he and Hillary were “dead broke” after leaving the White House, and telling the audience that his wife is not out of touch, Bill dug the hole even deeper.
America Rising points out that the watches Clinton gloats over are not only very expensive, but Clinton also seems to be bragging about giving them away.
Let’s cut Bill some slack – maybe he thinks that buying paying $7,700 for watches that he’ll give away is what everyone does; after all, he classifies being “dead broke” as not being able to pay the mortgages on his houses.
It’s not just Hillary who needs a bit more grooming before she’s prime-time ready. If he doesn’t want to ruin his wife’s potential campaign, Bill needs to stop loving the taste of his foot, so that he’ll stop shoving it in his mouth.

Hillary made a secret deal with Huma to keep Weiner quiet

Hillary Clinton has a “secret deal” with her top aide Huma Abedin to keep Abedin’s troublesome husband, Anthony Weiner, out of the spotlight, sources tell Page Six, as the former secretary of state mulls a run for president.
Clinton aides have insisted Weiner “stay out of public life for two years” and that he “avoid causing any further embarrassment to Huma or Clinton,” according to our sources.
The former sexting pol has been noticeably absent at recent public events attended by Abedin, including the Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner in Manhattan earlier this month. Nor has he appeared at the recent plethora of New York galas and awards dinners attended by the Clintons, such as the Wildlife Conservation Society Gala on June 12 and the Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence Gala on April 24.
While a spokesman for Clinton insists the talk of a deal with Weiner is “1,000 percent absurd,” a well-placed source told us, “He has been put on notice by Clinton aides to keep a low profile and remain out of sight and out of trouble.”
Weiner caused a stir earlier this month when he favorited a tweet that said, “Tinder will now be the ultimate sext machine.” He later tweeted it was an accident: “OK, to recap my day. I accidentally hit the star thingy on a @voxdotcom story about Tinder. Sorry.”

Bill Clinton not Chelsea’s biological father

A rumor that first surfaced some years ago is cropping up again now that the woman whom First Lady of Snot Mooch calls “the Hildebeest” seems to be intent on becoming the next U.S. president, as if she and her husband haven’t already done enough damage.

The rumor is that former president Bill Clinton is not the biological dad of Chelsea Clinton — she who  commands a salary of $600,000 a year from NBC for doing literally nothing.

Radar Online reports, June 25, 2014, that former Clinton aide and close friend Larry Nichols, who was also the Clintons’ killer-for-hire (see “Bombshell: Long-time Clinton associate says he killed people for Bill & Hillary“), claims that Bill once told him he was not the biological father of Chelsea, and that Chelsea’s real father is Webster Hubbell, the former mayor of Little Rock, Ark. and Hillary’s one-time law partner.

Nichols lives in Charlotte, N.C. with his wife Suzy and four children.

Radar Online points out this isn’t the first time the rumor mill has circulated around 34-year-old Chelsea.

On June 2, 2014, The New Yorker cited anti-Clinton blogger Robert Morrow’s claims that Hillary and Webster had had an affair in 1984 during Bill’s second term as governor of Arkansas.

At the same time, Bill – who later admitted to numerous affairs with Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewinsky – was involved in a paternity scandal of his own, that he got a local woman pregnant.

Nichols said, “We were discussing this woman’s claims that Bill had knocked her up and what we should do about it. But he [Bill Clinton] denied that he could have gotten her pregnant. He said he had measles as a kid and that rendered him sterile. His exact words were, ‘I shoot blanks.’ Stunned by what I’d just heard, I asked him, ‘Then what about Chelsea?’ And he said, ‘Oh, Webb (Hubbell) sired her.’”

In an interview with The National Enquirer, blogger Morrow says the alleged scandal raises “character questions about Hillary.” Morrow says:

“Chelsea is a dead ringer for Webb. But Hillary initially kept the pregnancy secret from Bill! If your wife becomes pregnant, the husband is usually the second person to know. But I find it very odd that Bill initially didn’t find out about his wife becoming pregnant – and had to learn that fact from a newspaper. According to well-respected author Edward Klein’s (2005) book,The Truth about Hillary, Bill discovered his wife was pregnant by reading it in the Arkansas Gazette. It’s unfortunate, sad really, that Chelsea has no real relationship with Hubbell – who I believe to be her real biological father – when he’s alive and kicking and living in North Carolina. But it could be she’s in denial, despite overwhelming proof that Webb is her real dad.”

As the governor of Arkansas, Bill appointed Hubbell as Chief Justice of the Arkansas State Supreme Court. Ten years later, Hubbell resigned just before pleading guilty to federal mail fraud and tax evasion for overbilling clients and served 15 months in prison.

King Abdullah calls up Saudi armed forces on high preparedness. Egyptian troops ready to fly to kingdom 

Thursday, June 26, the day before US Secretary of State John Kerry was due in Riyadh, King Abdullah summoned a National Security Council meeting “upon the current security events in the region, especially in Iraq,” and ordered “all necessary measures to protect the kingdom against terrorist threats.” This meant a general call-up of military units for a high level of preparedness.
debkafile’s military sources disclose that Egypt is assembling an expeditionary commando force to fly to Saudi Arabia and bolster its border defenses.
This flurry of Saudi-Egyptian military steps comes in the wake of intelligence gathered by Saudi reconnaissance planes showing Iraqi Al Qaeda-linked Sunni fighters (ISIS) heading for the Saudi border and aiming to seize control of the Iraqi-Saudi crossing at Ar Ar (pop: 200,000).
ISIS and its Sunni allies are still on the march after capturing Iraq’s border crossings with Syria and Jordan earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Kerry warned Mideast nations against taking new military action in Iraq that might heighten sectarian divisions.
By then, he had been overtaken by a rush of events, as debkafile reported this morning.
When the first of the 300 military advisers US President Barack Obama promised the Iraqi government arrived in Baghdad Wednesday, June 25, Iranian and Saudi Arabian arms shipments were already in full flow to opposing sides in embattled Iraq, debkafile’s military sources report.
At least two cargo planes from bases in Iran were landing daily at Baghdad’s military airport, carrying 150 tons of military equipment. More than 1,000 tons were flown in this past week alone. Tehran has replicated for the Iraqi army the routine it established for Bashar Assad’s army, furnishing its needs on a daily basis as per its commanders’ requests. Those requests come before a joint Iranian-Iraqi headquarters set up at the Iraqi high command in Baghdad for approval and the assigning of priorities for shipment.
At the same time, Saudi arms are flowing to the Iraqi Sunni tribes fighting alongside the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) against the Iraqi army and the Shiite Nouri al-Maliki's government.
They are coming in both overland and by airlift.
Saudi arms convoys are crossing the border into Iraq with Saudi and Jordanian air force cover and heading north up to the Al-Qa'im district near the Syrian border. There, Sunni and ISIS fighters, after capturing this key Anbar district, have begun refurbishing the bases and runways at H-2, once one of Saddam Hussein’s largest airbases. Situated 350 kilometers west of Baghdad, this air base has two long runways and hangars for fighter planes and helicopters.
debkafile's military sources disclose that, on Tuesday June 24, unmarked civilian cargo planes landed at the base, bringing arms shipments from Saudi Arabia.
The response was swift. Syrian warplanes, on their first bombing mission inside Iraq, tried to damage the partially repaired runways at H-2 to prevent any more Saudi air shipments from landing.
Military sources in Washington confirmed Wednesday June 25 that those air strikes were conducted by the Syrian Air Force “in Anbar province” and left at least 57 people dead and 120 wounded - most of them Iraqi civilians. They declined to say what was attacked, referring only to ISIS-related targets.
