Muslim terrorists attacked and took control of Kenya's seaside town of Mpeketoni on Sunday night, slaughtering Kenyan Christians in a brutal rampage. Meanwhile, President Barack Obama arrived in Palm Springs, California on Saturday via Air Force One to spend Sunday, Father's Day, playing golf not discussing the terror being inflicted on his ancestral homeland.
Kenya’s top police chief, Dave Kimaiyo, told reporters that so far 48 died and dozens were wounded by the jihadists. The attackers are believed to be members of the al-Qaida-affiliate Al-Shabaab. The Somalia-based Islamist group has increased their violent attacks in an effort to get Kenya and other African countries to remove their troops sent to help the weak and corrupt Somali government.
Kenya's Minister of Interior, Joseph Lenku, claims that the Islamists fought a fierce battle with Kenyan police and security forces.
During the weekend in which Iraq cities are falling to radical Sunni Muslims, Nigeria continues to battle Boko Haram, who still hold a number of Nigerian female children, Yemen continues to suffer terrorist attacks including bombings, Obama focused a university graduation commencement speech -- given prior to his golf outing -- on the threat of climate change and, according to his critics, continued his "Chris Rock" impersonation by mocking those who disagree with him.
"This president is facing a Middle East and North Africa exploding before our eyes, yet he's taking shots at his political opponents and pushing his leftist agenda," said former intelligence operative and police official Sid Franes.
"President Obama reportedly avoids discussing his family members in Kenya because of their Muslim background and their Islamic activism," said Franes.
Final Deadline on Syrian Chemical Weapons Agreement Will Be Missed
(CNSNews.com) – The international community will miss its June 30
deadline for the complete destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons
program, due to a series of regime breaches of an agreement which the
Obama administration has touted as a key foreign policy accomplishment.
At a meeting of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical
Weapons’ executive committee Tuesday, the watchdog’s director-general,
Ahmet Umzucu, confirmed that there is no way the looming deadline can be
met. That’s because President Bashar Assad’s regime has yet to
surrender the last eight percent of its declared chemical weapons (CW)
stocks.
Even if the chemical weapons were handed over at the Syrian port of
Latakia today, they would still need to be shipped by a Danish vessel to
Italy, and then transferred to the MV Cape Ray, a U.S. container ship modified to neutralize the agents at sea – a process that will take up to two months.
Umzucu also confirmed that the regime has not destroyed 12 chemical weapons facilities, as required to do under an OPCW “plan of destruction”
mandated by a U.N. Security Council resolution adopted last September .
The deadline for that objective passed on March 15, unheeded.
In fact the regime has flouted virtually every deadline set down in terms of a framework agreement negotiated between Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov last spring.
By Dec. 31, it should have handed over the most dangerous of its
chemical weapons – including sarin, mustard gas and VX – for removal
from Latakia and subsequent destruction.

Iran Digs in Heels on Nuclear Centrifuges at Vienna Talks
VIENNA (Reuters) – Iran is refusing to significantly cut the number
of centrifuges it intends to keep to produce nuclear fuel, making it
hard to imagine a compromise at this week’s talks with six powers,
Western and Iranian officials said on Wednesday.
The remarks from diplomats close to the talks, who spoke on condition
of anonymity, came after the initial rounds of meetings in the Austrian
capital between Iran and the United States, Britain, France, China,
Russia plus Germany.
They are striving for a deal that would limit Iran’s nuclear
programme, subject it to stricter U.N. inspections, lift sanctions
impairing Iran’s oil-based economy and remove the risk of a wider Middle
East war over the dispute.
But with time running out if a precarious extension of the talks past
the self-imposed July 20 deadline is to be averted, the two sides
remain far apart over the permissible future scope of Iranian nuclear
activity.
Perhaps the biggest hurdle to overcome, six-power diplomats said, is
Iran’s stance regarding its uranium-enrichment centrifuges, which one
negotiator described as a “huge problem”.
Centrifuges are machines that spin at supersonic speed to increase
the ratio of the fissile isotope in uranium. Low-enriched uranium is
used to fuel nuclear power plants, Iran’s stated goal, but can also
provide material for bombs if refined much further, which the West fears
may be Iran’s latent goal.

When Barack Obama made the Bergdahl trade, an obvious breach of U.S. policy to not negotiate with terrorists, many around the country were outraged.

Dictators and the corrupted media know
that they can brainwash the people who are either too tired to think
for themselves, don't have the brain capacity, are too lazy, want
dependence and, or want the government to control every aspect of their
existence. This corrupted media continually makes
statements, such as, "The American people think this or that." They are
putting words in your mouth and thoughts into your brain daily, like you
don't have the capability to do this for yourself.

people don't know what to do, only the career politicians do." This
statement in itself should scare the hell out of all Americans.

The IRS is now telling Congress that it has lost the emails of no fewer than seven IRS employees central to the targeting of conservative nonprofits, though that's only half the outrage. There's also the IRS's quiet admission that it has spent most of the past year willfully defying Congress.
After informing Congress on Friday that it can't find two years of email from former Director of Exempt Organizations Lois Lerner, House Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp revealed Tuesday that the IRS can't produce records for six more employees whose hard drives also supposedly failed. These six happen to have been central to the IRS crackdown on conservative groups, and the lost emails were sent when the targeting took place, including in 2010 and 2011. The six include Nicole Flax, former chief of staff to former IRS Commissioner Steven Miller.
There's an equally disturbing IRS confession contained in its Friday letter to Congress. Some history: House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa as early as June 4, 2013 asked the IRS to provide "all documents and communications sent by, received by, or copied to Lois Lerner" between Jan. 1, 2009 and the present." Note the "all."
Mr. Issa sent an official subpoena demanding "all" the records in August 2013, and another subpoena reiterating the "all" demand in February 2014. Former Acting IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel in August of 2013 told Congress, under oath, that the IRS was "reviewing every one of Lois Lerner's emails, and providing the response." Current IRS Commissioner John Koskinen in February told Congress, under oath, that the IRS was sending all of Ms. Lerner's emails.
Yet in its letter on Friday the IRS slipped in the following: "In early 2014, Chairmen Camp and Issa reiterated their requests for all of Lois Lerner's email, regardless of subject matter . . . Fulfilling the request," said the IRS, meant it had to compile Lerner emails that went beyond the "search terms" it had "originally loaded for review." By mid-March, the agency admitted, it had produced for Congress only the Lerner emails that it—the IRS—considered "related" to the scandal.

An Army veteran attending University of Wyoming was told that as a
senator in its student government he should not say the Pledge of
Allegiance before meetings. The reason: It might offend international
students.
“Multiple senators sat me down and said it was a ‘very
touchy subject’ and ‘we don’t want to offend anybody,’” former Army
Staff Sgt. Cory Schroeder told the education watchdogCampus Reform Tuesday.
The veteran was told that if he wasn’t happy with the Associated
Students of the University of Wyoming (ASUW) government’s decision, he
could write a bill to allocate 20 seconds at the beginning of the
meetings to say the Pledge, Campus Reform reported.
Mr. Schroeder
told the watchdog that he anticipated delays in the process by the
“liberal standing committee,” and added: “If you look at any
constitution that governs a student body, there’s no law, there’s no
bill that states you must give 20 seconds to say the Pledge of
Allegiance, [and there] shouldn’t be,” Campus Reform reported.
Probable Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton broke with
President Obama on a key policy issue Tuesday, claiming the
unprecedented number of illegal children flooding into the United States
must be deported and returned to their families in Central America.
For years, parents in crime-ridden Central American nations have been
sending their children up through Mexico alone to cross the American
border.
Driven in part by rhetoric emanating from the White House, these
parents believe their children will be safe in the United States and
won’t be turned away.
But thousands of these young people — many mere toddlers — die while trekking through Central America and Mexico on their own.
The flood recently became too much for the White House to hide,
spilling into warehouses run by the Border Patrol, the Department of
Homeland Security and a partnership of other public and private
agencies. And the deluge shows no signs of abating.
President Obama and Vice President Biden have both shied away from
solutions to the problem. But in a CNN town hall broadcast on Tuesday,
Hillary Clinton diverged significantly from her former boss.
“Hard choice,” asked CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. “Let them stay in the United States or send them back?”
“Well, two quick points,” the former secretary of state replied.
“One, the numbers are increasing dramatically. And the main reason I
believe why that’s happening is that the violence in certain of those
Central American countries is increasing dramatically.”
“Should they be able to stay here?” Amanpour pressed. “It’s safer.”
“Well, it — it may be safer, but that’s not the answer,” Clinton responded.
“So should they be sent back?” Amanpour continued.
“Well, first of all, we have to provide the best emergency care we
can provide,” Clinton said. “We have children 5 and 6 years old who have
come up from Central America. We need to do more to provide border
security in southern Mexico –”
“So you’re saying they should be sent back now,” Amanpour asserted.
“Well, they should be sent back as soon as it can be determined who
responsible adults in their families are,” Clinton admitted. “There are
concerns about whether all of them should be sent back, but I think all
of them who can be should be reunited with their families.”
“We have to send a clear message: Just because your child gets across
the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay,” Hillary
declared. “So we don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our
laws, or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey.”

State John Kerry spent part of Monday addressing "the threats facing
the ocean."
"Today less than 2 percent of our ocean is considered a
marine-protected area where there are some restrictions on human
activity in order to prevent contaminating the ecosystem," Kerry told a
conference at the State Department. "There isn't anybody here who
doesn't believe we can't do better than that. So let's start by finding
a way to perhaps bring that number up to 10 percent or more as soon as
possible."
Kerry said most people "underestimate the "enormous damage" that humans inflict on the oceans every day.
"When people order seafood from a restaurant, most of the time they
don't realize that a third of the world's fish stocks are
over-exploited, too much money chasing too few fish. And nearly all the
rest are being fished at or near their absolute maximum sustainable
level on a planet that has six billion people today and will rise to
nine (billion) over the next 30, 40, 50 years."
Global strategy
Saving the ocean cannot be a one-person
or one-nation effort. "It's a universal requirement all across this
planet," Kerry said.
"The bottom line is that most people don't realize that if the
entire world doesn't come together to try to change course and protect
the ocean from unsustainable fishing practices, unprecedented
pollution, or the devastating effects of climate change, then we run
the risk of fundamentally breaking entire ecosystems," Kerry said.
Regional, ad-hoc approaches are not working, Kerry said, as he called for a "global ocean strategy."
"I want us to walk away from this conference with more than ideas. I
want us to walk away from here with a plan -- a plan that puts an end
to overfishing through new rules based on the best available science."
Kerry said fisheries must dramatically reduce the amount of fish and other species that are caught accidentally and discarded.
He called for a plan that ends subsidies to fisheries, "which only serve to promote overfishing."

Palin on IRS “Losing” Lerner Emails: Obama Worse Than Nixon
“Remember the 18 minute gap in Nixon’s White House tapes during the Watergate scandal? Now Obama’s IRS top dog claims a communications gap of 1,052,000 minutes,” Palin said. “Hmm. Wonder if the press will recognize similarities. Maybe a smidgen?”
She wondered what would happen if Americans lost all of their tax records and asked the IRS just to trust them, like the IRS is saying regarding the “central figure in their harassment of conservatives scandal.”
“Try claiming that next tax season: ‘Oops-a-daisy, computer crash, all records gone, so… just trust me on what I claim I owe you, IRS,’” Palin continued. “You know, Obama Administration, at this point why not just say the dog ate it? Watch now as the Administration tosses us a bone while the public demands Obama find those evaporated emails. And about that promise of transparency? About that claim to be ‘The Most Transparent Administration Ever’?”
NBC White House correspondent Chuck Todd describes
the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC poll as a disaster for Barack Obama –
and says the American people have given up on his presidency.
Based on the results of the new poll, which was conducted last Wednesday and Sunday, WSJ observed:
Americans seem to be losing faith in Mr. Obama’s ability
to accomplish his goals, with 54% of those polled saying they no longer
feel the president “is able to lead the country and get the job done,”
compared with the 42% who said he could. And 41% said his
administration’s performance has gotten worse over the past year,
compared with the 15% who noted improvement.
Obama’s overall job approval rating remained at 41% – matching his
previous low, while approval of his handling of foreign policy hit a new
low of 37%. That spells disaster, according to Todd:
“This poll is a disaster for the president. You look at
the presidency here: lowest job rating, tied for the lowest; lowest on
foreign policy. His administration is seen as less competent than the
Bush administration, post-Katrina.”
While some argue that the unraveling in Iraq is largely out of
Obama’s control, others point to his precipitous withdrawal of all U.S
troops from the country in 2011 – largely to fulfill a campaign promise –
as a major factor leading to the current disaster.
Either way, a majority of Americans have clearly lost faith in this president. Across the board.
Expert says incident confirms power lines are 'weapons' for terrorists
WASHINGTON – Al-Qaida has a new way to bring its targets down: Attack the electrical grid systems that provide power.
No power means no communications, defenses or much of anything else.
Sources have confirmed that on June 9, al-Qaida of the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP, which uses Yemen as a base, attacked there.
The attack, however, wasn’t on just a city, it was on the entire country.
Jihadists attacked power lines in the central province of Marib, and sources report they knocked out Yemen’s entire national power grid, leaving services such as gas stations without power.
The attack went after power lines connecting outlying regions to the capital, Sanaa, which is in the Jaham district of Marib province.
While technicians have begun to repair the power lines, the Yemeni military caught up with the jihadists, who were equipped not only with small arms, but also mortars and medium-caliber weapons.
The Yemeni Air Force also launched airstrikes targeting the AQAP fighters.
“This is the first case where a terrorist attack on the power grid has blacked out an entire nation,” said Peter Vincent Pry, who once was staff director of the congressionally mandated EMP commission, which determined the impact of an electromagnetic pulse event on the life-sustaining critical infrastructures in the United States that rely completely on the vulnerable national grid system.
Pry also is executive director of the congressional, advisory Task Force on National and Homeland Security.
The attack on Yemen’s national grid system brings to mind the attack two years ago by unknown assailants on the grid system in San Jose, California, in which 17 transformers were knocked out using AK-47 rounds hitting in a precise locations meant to cause seepage of the oil that keeps the transformers from burning up.
To this day, the attackers have not been found.
Pry was concerned that an attack knocking out a nation’s entire grid system has gone largely unreported.
“Maybe the liberal mainstream (media) is helping cover for (President Barack) Obama, who is already in deep trouble with ISIS carving a jihadist caliphate out of Syria and Iraq, while Taliban attacks are further destabilizing Pakistan, a nuclear weapons state,” Pry said.
“Last thing Obama needs is news about U.S. ally Yemen being blacked out by al-Qaida,” he said. “Might detract somewhat from the theory that the biggest threat to America is climate change.”
Pry said the grid attack in Yemen “absolutely confirms that attacking electric grids – not just for a city but for an entire nation – is an al-Qaida weapon.”
In addition to the San Jose case, Pry referred to an attack last year by a Mexican drug cartel, the Knights of Templars, in which members blacked out an entire state, affecting some 420,000 people, to enable drug lords to go into towns and villages to execute those opposed to the drug trade in public squares.
Last year, Pry wrote in a report of the open source intelligence Langley Intelligence Group Network that the movement of al-Qaida and affiliates throughout the Middle East and North Africa appears to belie claims by the Obama administration that core of al-Qaida is so “decimated” it can no longer orchestrate major terrorist operations, such as the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the United States.
