10 Palestinians killed in failed Gazan rocket attack, IDF says
Palestinian media reported that 10 people were killed and several
injured, including children, in an explosion near Shifa Hospital in Gaza
City on Monday afternoon.
The IDF confirmed that the hospital had been struck by a failed Gazan rocket, not by an IAF drone strike, as Hamas had claimed.
Thousands of Palestinians have taken refuge at Shifa Hospital, according to Palestinian news agency Ma'an.
The IDF did not comment on reports of an Israeli air strike that hit a
public garden in the Beach refugee camp that, according to Palestinian
medics, killed five of the 10 people.
Hamas Killed Hundreds of Muslim Children to Build Tunnels
The dead children who matter are only those that can be blamed on the Jews. PR children — that’s their value. Chilling. And the media is their marketing team. Savages and their ghouls.Hamas Killed 160 Palestinian Children to Build Tunnels

But who built those tunnels? The answer is Hamas, of course—using some of the same children who are now trapped under fire in Gaza.
The Institute for Palestine Studies published a detailed report on Gaza’s Tunnel Phenomenon in the summer of 2012. It reported that tunnel construction in Gaza has resulted in a large number of child deaths.
“At least 160 children have been killed in the tunnels, according to Hamas officials”The author, Nicolas Pelham, explains that Hamas uses child laborers to build their terror tunnels because, “much as in Victorian coal mines, they are prized for their nimble bodies”.
Human rights groups operating in Gaza raised concerns about child labor in the tunnels as far back as 2008. Hamas responded by saying it was “considering curbs.” Following Operation Cast Lead in 2009 Hamas softened its position and the Interior Ministry established the Tunnel Affairs Commission (TAC) which, “In response to public concern at a rising toll of tunnel casualties, particularly of child workers…issued guidelines intended to ensure safe working conditions.” No mention is made in the report of the conditions that would result for both Palestinian and Israeli children from building tunnels that would be used to launch terror attacks.
Nor does it seem that Hamas paid much subsequent attention to ensuring the safety of the child workers that it used to build the tunnels that would wind up endangering the lives of many in Gaza. On a tour of the tunnels in 2011, Pelham noted that, “nothing was done to impede the use of children in the tunnels.”
Not only are Hamas misappropriating much of the humanitarian aid supplied to Gaza—800,000 tons of cement were used to construct the terror tunnels into Israel—they are also directly exploiting and endangering Gaza’s youth in their construction and operation
Egypt army destroys 13 more Gaza tunnel
As Israel works to destroyed series of tunnels leading to it border, Egypt continues its own battle against Hamas’ underground network.
Egypt’s
army said Sunday it has destroyed 13 more tunnels connecting the Sinai
Peninsula to the Gaza Strip, taking to 1,639 the overall number it has
laid waste to.
Cairo
has poured troops into the peninsula to counter a rising insurgency
since the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi last year, and its
security operation involves the destruction of these tunnels. The Palestinian militant group Hamas, which is the main power in Gaza, reportedly uses the tunnels to smuggle arms, food and money into the blockaded coastal enclave.
Israel has been waging a military offensive on Gaza since July 8 to halt rocket fire, and it launched a ground assault on July 17 aimed at destroying the network of tunnels.
It accuses Hamas of using the tunnels to attacks on Israel.Ties between Hamas and Cairo have deteriorated since the Egyptian army deposed Morsi on July 3, 2013. Hamas is an affiliate of Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood
Cairo also accuses of Hamas of being involved in militant attacks inside Egypt, which have multiplied since Morsi was toppled.
John Kerry: The betrayal
Astoundingly, the secretary’s intervention in the Hamas war empowers the Gaza terrorist government bent on destroying Israel
When The Times of Israel’s Avi Issacharoff first reported the content of John Kerry’s ceasefire proposal on Friday afternoon, I wondered if something had gotten lost in translation. It seemed inconceivable that the American secretary of state would have drafted an initiative that, as a priority, did not require the dismantling of Hamas’s rocket arsenal and network of tunnels dug under the Israeli border. Yet the reported text did not address these issues at all, nor call for the demilitarization of Gaza.
It seemed inconceivable that the secretary’s
initiative would specify the need to address Hamas’s demands for a
lifting of the siege of Gaza, as though Hamas were a legitimate injured
party acting in the interests of the people of Gaza — rather than the
terror group that violently seized control of the Strip in 2007,
diverted Gaza’s resources to its war effort against Israel, and could be
relied upon to exploit any lifting of the “siege” in order to import
yet more devastating weaponry with which to kill Israelis.
Israel and the US are meant to be allies; the
US is meant to be committed to the protection of Israel in this most
ruthless of neighborhoods; together, the US and Israel are meant to be
trying to marginalize the murderous Islamic extremism that threatens the
free world. Yet here was the top US diplomat appearing to accommodate a
vicious terrorist organization bent on Israel’s destruction, with a
formula that would leave Hamas better equipped to achieve that goal.
The appalled response to the Kerry proposal by
the members of the security cabinet on Friday night, however, made
plain nothing had gotten lost in translation at all. The secretary’s
proposal managed to unite Israel’s disparate group of key political
leaders — from Naftali Bennett and Avigdor Liberman on the right,
through Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to Yair Lapid and Tzipi Livni
on the center-left — in a unanimous response of horrified rejection and
leaked castigation.
The Netanyahu government has had no shortage
of run-ins with Kerry in the mere 18 months he has held office. The
prime minister publicly pleaded with him in November not to sign the
interim deal with Iran on its rogue nuclear program, and there has been
constant friction between the two governments over thwarting Iran’s bid
for the bomb. Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon in January ridiculed
Kerry’s security proposals for a West Bank withdrawal, calling the
secretary “messianic” and obsessive” in his quest for an accord with the
Palestinians that simply wasn’t there. The collapse of the talks in
March-April was accompanied by allegations from Jerusalem that Kerry had
botched the process, telling Israel one thing and the Palestinian
Authority another, including misrepresenting Israel’s position on
Palestinian prisoner releases.
Israel tells UN Human Rights Council to ‘get lost’
Council’s decision to investigate possible Israeli war crimes in Gaza draws harsh responses from Israeli officials • PMO: The decision is a farce, they should probe Hamas • State Department: U.S. will stand up for Israel even if it means standing alone
The United Nations
Human Rights Council voted on Wednesday to establish an independent
commission to investigate possible violations of international law in
Gaza, as Israel’s military operation in Gaza continued for a 17th day.
The council’s decision applies only to Israel’s actions, ignoring Hamas’ culpability entirely.
The decision came
after Navi Pillay, the U.N. high commissioner for human rights, said
Wednesday that some of the recent Israeli strikes, including those on
homes and on a care center for the disabled, raise “a strong possibility
that international law has been violated in a manner that could amount
to war crimes.”
She also condemned
indiscriminate Hamas attacks on Israeli civilians — including some 3,000
rockets fired since July 8 that have killed three civilians in Israel —
and said storing military equipment in civilian areas or launching
attacks from there is unacceptable. But, she said, “the actions of one
party do not absolve the other party of the need to respect its
obligations under international law.”
When the investigation
was put up to a vote, 29 countries voted in favor, 17 countries
abstained and only the U.S. voted against the initiative. The countries
that voted in favor of the investigation included well-known
human-rights “champions” like Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela,
Indonesia, Kuwait, Algeria, Cuba, and other states.
Shortly after the
decision, officials in Washington called the move unfair and one-sided.
State Department deputy spokesperson Marie Harf said the U.S. had no
problem being the sole vote against the commission, adding that the
country will continue to stand up for Israel, “even if it means standing
alone.”
Naturally, Israeli
officials responded harshly to the initiative. The Prime Minister’s
Office issued a statement saying “the decision is a farce. Instead of
investigating Hamas for committing a double war crime — firing rockets
at Israeli civilians while hiding behind Palestinian civilians — the
Human Rights Council calls for an investigation against Israel, which is
making unprecedented efforts to avoid harming civilians.”
“The Human Rights
Council should begin investigating Hamas’ decisions to turn hospitals
into command centers and schools into weapons depots and to place rocket
launchers next to playgrounds, private houses and mosques,” the
statement continued.
Justice Minister Tzipi
Livni, who had to limit her travels after the 2009 Goldstone report
accused Israel of war crimes in Gaza, wrote on her Facebook page
following the council’s vote: “I have two words for you: Get lost.”
Thousands March in French City of Marseille in Support of Israel
MARSEILLE France (Reuters) – Thousands took to the streets of Marseille in the south of France on Sunday to show their support for Israel, the first such demonstration in the country since the start of the recent fighting in Gaza, organizers said. Some 2,000 pro-Israeli demonstrators, carrying French and Israeli flags, were separated by riot police from a few dozen pro-Palestinian protesters chanting anti-Israeli slogans in Marseille’s Old Port in the center of the Mediterranean city.
“We are here to show our solidarity with Israel, which has been attacked and has a right to defend itself,” William Labi, head of the body governing Jewish congregations in Marseille, told Reuters. The protest was also organized by the community’s umbrella group CRIF.
Pro-Palestinian protesters clashed with police in central Paris on Saturday when thousands of protesters defied a ban by French authorities to rally against Israel’s offensive in the Gaza Strip. Police made about 70 arrests.
In Marseille, some 2,000 people had marched peacefully on Saturday in an authorized pro-Palestinian demonstration.
France has both the largest Jewish and Muslim populations in Europe and flare-ups in the Middle East have in the past added to tensions between the two communities.
Israel began its offensive earlier this month, citing a surge in rocket attacks launched from Hamas militants in the Gaza strip.
Some 1,031 Palestinians, mainly civilians and including many children, have been killed in the 20-day conflict. Israel says 43 of its soldiers have died, along with three civilians killed by rocket and mortar fire out of the Mediterranean enclave.
Hundreds attend pro-Israeli demonstration in Toronto
TORONTO - A tension-filled demonstration denouncing the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza hit downtown Toronto Sunday with pro-Israeli protesters accusing Hamas of ignoring recent declarations of a ceasefire.Thousands of pro-Israeli demonstrators - many hoisting blue-and-white Israeli flags - gathered at Queen's Park to protest what they called punitive aggression on the part of Hamas. They blamed the militant Palestinian group for perpetuating the deadly conflict which has been raging since early July.
"We are humane people - we are stupidly humane people," protest organizer Vivienne Ziner told the crowd, insisting Israel's declaration of a ceasefire on Saturday was for the benefit of the civilians of Gaza, most of whom are Palestinian. "We stopped (for a) ceasefire so that (people in Gaza) could get food, but instead, Hamas restocks weapons."
Sunday's demonstration included a scuffle between a small group of pro-Israeli demonstrators and an even smaller group of pro-Palestinian protestors.
Progressive Conservative MP John Carmichael (Don Valley West), one of several speakers, read a statement from Prime Minister Stephen Harper declaring "Canada's strong and unwavering support for Israel" and calling for Hamas to end its "terrorist acts."
One pro-Palestinian protester continuously yelled "Kill more Palestinian children" in an attempt to taunt pro-Israeli demonstrators.
Sunday's demonstration came a day after a similar protest at Queen's Park. However, police had to intervene at Saturday's demonstration when tensions ran to the brink between the two groups.
"We're here to show that we want peace and that Israel wants peace," said Meir Weinstein of the Jewish Defense League - a hard-line Jewish group that provided security for Sunday's protest.
Israel launched an offensive against Hamas July 8 following weeks of building conflict sparked by the kidnapping and killing of three Israeli teenagers. The heat was turned up even higher after a Palestinian teen was killed in an apparent act of revenge.
As many as 1,139 Palestinians and 45 Israelis had been killed as of Saturday, according to the New York Times.
On Saturday, Israel declared a 12-hour ceasefire and later extended it to midnight Sunday. But the ceasefire collapsed following a Palestinian missile strike. On Sunday, Hamas declared its own ceasefire, reportedly to give Palestinians in Gaza a chance to mark the end of Ramadan.
Israeli government officials questioned if Hamas could honour its pledge.
Obama is Waging War on “Christian Civilization”, Says Vatican Chief Justice
We’ve seen throughout Obama’s term in office that the president doesn’t think very highly of the Christian faith, especially of those Christians who have traditional moral views.Catholics and conservative evangelicals have been constant targets for practicing their faith in the public square, as exemplified by the various lawsuits brought against the administration’s actions by Catholic universities, charities and other organizations, and businesses like Hobby Lobby run by Christian owners.
This hostility towards religion has finally drawn criticism from the Vatican. Cardinal Raymond Burke, the head of the highest court of the Vatican, went so far as to say that Obama is waging war on “Christian civilization” by violating religious liberty. Wow.
Vatican Says Nancy Pelosi “Must” Be Denied Communion
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is one of the most despised members of Congress, and there’s a laundry list of reasons that could be cited as justification for the animosity.Pelosi was one of the central figures that spearheaded the movement to ram Obamacare down the throats of the American public, despite the majority of citizens being opposed to it.
The California congresswoman has also played the part of a pawn in the overall scheme of the Obama administration, being an ever loyal lapdog defending the actions of the White House during the Benghazi investigation.
Perhaps the most heinous acts of Pelosi’s career is her defense of abortion, an act which has raised the concern of the Vatican, since she claims to be a “devout” Catholic.
In light of her consistent support of “reproductive rights” and “family planning,” the Vatican has banned Pelosi from taking communion.
via CNS News:
Because of her longstanding support for abortion, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), a Catholic, must be denied Communion under the law of the Catholic Church, said Cardinal Raymond Burke, head of the highest court at the Vatican. It’s awesome to see the Vatican taking a stand to defend the lives of the unborn and to chastise Nancy Pelosi for her defense of abortion. No doubt this is a smart move on behalf of the Catholic Church as it allows them to put some distance between themselves and the controversial House Minority Leader, taking a stand against “Catholics” who don’t live out their faith in public life.
Cardinal Burke referenced his remarks about Pelosi to Canon Law–the law governing the Catholic Church–and specifically Canon 915, which says those Catholics who obstinately persevere “in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.”“Certainly this is a case when Canon 915 must be applied,” said Cardinal Burke in an interview reprinted on Sept. 5 in The Wanderer, a national Catholic weekly. “This is a person who obstinately, after repeated admonitions, persists in a grave sin–cooperating with the crime of procured abortion–and still professes to be a devout Catholic.”
“This is a prime example of what Blessed John Paul II referred to as the situation of Catholics who have divorced their faith from their public life and therefore are not serving their brothers and sisters in the way that they must–in safeguarding and promoting the life of the innocent and defenseless unborn, in safeguarding and promoting the integrity of marriage and the family,” said the cardinal.
Perhaps being denied communion will open Pelosi’s eyes to see that abortion is a horrible and immoral practice. The Eucharist is the most important sacrament in the Catholic Church, and it shouldn’t be served to those with evil, immoral views.
Donald Trump: Obama Is the “Biggest Liar I Know”
In a wide-ranging speech to the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, business magnate Donald Trump drew loud applause with his stark critique of President Barack Obama.Trump criticized the president for his dishonesty, lack of tenacity and toughness, incompetence, attitude, and what might be described as his general cluelessness.
He also derided the president for specific policies including his handling of the Veterans Health Administration scandal, the Obamacare website roll-out, unemployment, foreign trade policy, and his handling of the overall economy.
Sarah Palin launches online subscription channel
NEW YORK (AP) — Sarah Palin has started her own subscription-based online network. The Sarah Palin Channel, which went live on Sunday, bills itself as a "direct connection" between the former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate and her supporters, with "no need to please the powers-that-be," Palin says in a video mission statement on her channel's home page.
"Are you tired of the media filters?" she asks. "Well, I am. I always have been. So we're gonna do something about it."
"We'll talk about the issues that the mainstream media won't talk about," she adds.
Palin says she oversees all content posted to the channel. This will include her own political commentary. Other features for subscribers include the ability to submit questions to Palin and participate with her in online video chats.
Membership is set at $9.95 per month or $99.95 for a year.
Palin remains active elsewhere as a Fox News Channel contributor and reality-TV personality.
The Sarah Palin Channel is part of the TAPP video platform, which launched earlier this year.
Hillary Swats Aside Obama, Says George W. Bush Made Her ‘Proud To Be American’
Hillary Swats Aside Obama, Says George W. Bush Made Her ‘Proud To Be American’
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton raised eyebrows on CNN by
claiming that former President George W. Bush actually brought out her
patriotism and made her proud of her American roots.
She also seemed to take a pot shot at President Obama’s foreign affairs policies during an interview on the “Fareed Zakaria GPS” show on CNN.
“We have to go back out and sell ourselves. It is not to be taken for granted. What do we stand for and how do we intend to lead and manage? How do we try to enlist the rest of the world in this struggle between cooperation and order and conflict and disorder which is really at the root of so much that’s going on today — and I don’t think we’ve done a very good job of that.”

Chicago Dem. Congressman Says He and Obama Will Give Amnesty to 5 Million Illegals
Since he first started to run for Congress, Chicago’s Democrat Representative Luis Gutiérrez has been 100% all in for open borders. He has been for drivers licenses for illegals, free education for illegals, free healthcare for illegals, free welfare for illegals–the whole ball of wax. And now he claims that he and Obama are working together to offer amnesty to over five million illegals during this current illegal immigration disaster.
The fact is, Gutiérrez has always felt Mexicans and other foreign Hispanics was his constituency, not Americans.
Breitbart TV has the story:
“Let me just say in about an hour, I’m going over to the White House. I’ll be meeting with Jeh Johnson and the chief legal counsel to the president of the United States. We’re going to sit down and we’re going to negotiate additional terms and avenues the president can use and prosecutorial discretion and I think we can get 3 million, 4 million, maybe 5 million names.”Breitbart has video, too, so go on over and take a look.
But let’s face it, here. It is Democrats like this Gutiérrez character who are responsible for this wave of illegals in the first place. He is disgorging stuff like this out of his mouth day in and day out and acting as an elected official goading all these illegals to come here expecting a free ride courtesy of the foolhardy American taxpayer.

Thousands Storm Boston in Massive Protest Against Housing Illegals in the State
Illegal immigration protesters in Boston came out in droves on Saturday in a public outcry against Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s decision to offer shelter in the state to unaccompanied minors.
While there is not an official count of protesters who gathered on Boston’s Beacon Hill yesterday, it’s estimated to have been around 10,000 citizens in opposition to Patrick’s decision, according to Jeff Kuhner, host of WRKO’s The Kuhner Report.
The sheer number of attendees serves to demonstrate American’s general opinion on the immigration issue. “I’ve been to a lot of rallies on Beacon Hill. This is by far the largest I’ve seen,” Bree Sison of Boston’s WBZ-TV tweeted. Kuhner added to that same sentiment saying, “I’ve never seen any kind of a backlash like this before on any issue ever. People in this state are livid. They feel betrayed by the political elite.”
“This week, a state official said it remained ‘unclear’ how many unaccompanied minors crossing the nation’s southern border illegally would be coming to Massachusetts and how many could stay in the state longer. The state has offered to house up to 1,000 children at one of two secure facilities for up to four months,” Boston.com reported.Language regarding illegal ‘children’ seems to have been carefully crafted in an effort to appeal to the sensitivities of the masses.
“When you say child, the implication is 4, 5, 6 [years old]. They’re teenagers – many of them are gangbangers … If you’re 15, you’re not a child. A child is 12 and under,” Boston.com reported. In addressing the crowed, Kuhner made specific mention of what he saw as a diverse group, “When I see this army in front of me, and I see them black and white, Hispanic, young, old, men, women, Americans, children, adults, rich, poor, veterans — our great veterans — legal immigrants like Jeff Kuhner,” Kuhner said, “that when I raised the alarm, when I called out for all of you to come, and I see so many of you here standing by me shoulder to shoulder, I can’t tell you…how honored, humbled, and touched I am.”
Kuhner, originally a Canadian citizen, came to the United States in the 1990′s on a work visa. While working toward earning a Ph.D, he was issued a green card in 2006. Kuhner is still in the process of becoming a naturalized citizen, according to Boston.com.
